Trims feature simple spring retention to ensure a snug fit to the ceiling plane, eliminating unwanted light leak and sagging over time. Trims are made of high quality die cast aluminum. Matte white trim ring standard.

Galvanized steel construction with aluminum housing. Accommodates ceilings 1⁄2" to 3⁄4" thick. One (1) cover provides easy access to splices.
Labels
U.L. approved for all ceiling types including direct contact with insulation. U.L. and CUL listed for damp locations and feed through wiring (cable only). Thermally protected.
J-Box
Prewired steel junction box with screw-lock door and preinstalled ground wire.

Porcelain socket with nickel-plated brass screw shell attaches to adjustable yoke bracket, placing lamp in proper position and ensuring consistent appearance and performance. Thermal protector prevents fixture from overheating when improperly installed or over-lamped. Fixture will cycle on and off until cause of overheating is corrected. Refer to trim for specific lamp information. Lamps furnished by others.
Integral housing flange with two (2) sheet metal screws aligns fixture flush with ceiling. Adjustable slide bars lock unit securely to ceiling. Does not require above ceiling access for installation

Designed for quick and easy installation into existing ceiling surfaces in direct contact with insulation. The SCRMNIC was specifically designed for sloped or “cathedral” type ceiling installations with slopes 0° to 45° (0/12 to 12/12 pitch). The SCRMNIC is ideal for remodeling applications in residential and commercial lighting projects.
