Description The SCx1253 is a high performance, compact 3way dual 15-inch loudspeaker. The powerful low frequency dual 15-inch co-planer mounted woofers produce exceptional bass and punch. The 90x60 horn loaded high and mid frequency drivers add extreme definition to vocals and drums. The system features 3200w peak power capacity, a full range internal crossover and bi-amping capabilities on 4-pin twist lock connectors. The SCx1253 is the same foot print as the SCx1118 with matching foot cups for stacking. Stack one SCx1253 on two SCx1118’s for an optimal height and a matched 134DB SPL 4-way system. The enclosure is constructed of CNC machined 13-Ply Premium Russian Baltic Birch with steel powder coated front grills. The SCX1253 features 12 flypoints for suspending in both the vertical and horizontal positions. Ideal for indoor gyms and arenas. The crossover includes two 4 pin twist lock high current connectors and two 1/4inch connectors mounted on FR4 double sided circuit boards for solid construction and durability. Carvin Audio’s exclusive Speaker Guard™ HF Driver protection uses a self resetting circuit to dim the HF driver 10 dB, protecting the voice coil from excessive power. This wide dispersion 3-way loudspeaker delivers high intelligibility studio quality sound, and high peak SPL.
