Both the Optical Media / SSD CARD Destroyer and the Paper Shredder are listed on their respective NSA Evaluated Products Lists (NSA/CSS 04-02 for Optical Media /SSD High Security Shredding and NSA/CSS 02-01 High Security Paper Shredding). In comparison to an all-in-one COMBO unit, the advantages of a two system solution are many. In addition to the safety, space, standard plug-in anywhere power, ease of use and multiple “green” advantages of the two unit bundle, the primary advantage is SECURITY. If an “all-in-one” solution fails, the user is left with NOTHING. If one of the SEM two unit bundle solution fails, at the very least, one system will continue to operate to allow the operator to continue to shred either paper or optical media…..and more importantly, the SEM Bundle solution is MORE VERSATILE by having NSA Approval for the destruction of SSD Cards. The Bundle Package includes lubricating oil and a case of waste collection bags for the Model 1324C/3 PAPER SHREDDER. The OPTICAL MEDIA / SSD Model 0200-OMD/SSD includes a HEPA Vacuum and a package (6) of Waste Collection bags. The combined space required for both units is substantially less than all-in-one units and unlike the all-in-one combo units that require a dedicated 20 AMP power outlet, the two-unit offering from SEM can be plugged into any standard 115V power outlet. This increases the mobility and maneuverability of the system.
