Antes de comenzar el uso del aparato, por favor, lea atentamente este manual y guárdelo para referencias futuras. • Evite exponer este aparato a temperaturas extremas, a la luz solar directa, a la lluvia o a la humedad. Evite los golpes fuertes. Nunca deje el aparato dentro del habitáculo de un vehículo aparcado bajo el sol. • Dentro de los vehículos o los edificios, la recepción de radio puede ser de peor calidad. Intente escuchar la radio cerca de las ventanas. • En caso de tormentas con aparato eléctrico, guarde inmediatamente los auriculares. NOTAS SOBRE LOS AURICULARES EVITE DAÑAR SUS OIDOS Evite el uso de los auriculares a gran volumen. Los expertos advierten contra el uso continuado de música a gran volumen. Si experimentara cualquier tipo de molestia en los oídos, reduzca el volumen o utilice el aparato de forma más discontinua.
FUNCIONAMIENTO 1. Inserte una pila de tamaño "AAA" de 1,5 V. 2. Sitúe el selector de Encendido/Apagado (ON/OFF) en ON para encender la radio. 3. Seleccione la banda. MODO FM ST (STEREO): Para la recepción normal de programas en FM stereo, sitúe el selector ST/MONO en ST. MONO (MONOCANAL): Cuando la recepción en ST sea de mala calidad, sitúe el selector en MONO. MODO AM: Recepción de emisoras de AM 4. Sintonice la emisora deseada. 5. Ajuste el volumen a su gusto. Cuando termine, apague el aparato situando el selector Encendido/Apagado (ON/OFF) en la posición OFF. PARA MEJORAR LA RECEPCION FM: Extienda completamente el cable de los auriculares. El cable los auriculares funciona como antena FM. AM: Dentro de la caja del aparato hay una antena de ferrita. Gire la radio para mejorar la recepción de las señales. PARA DISFRUTAR DE SONIDO GRAVE MÁS POTENTE Sitúe el selector BASS en la posición ON para incrementar la potencia de los graves. NOTAS SOBRE LA PILA Cambie la pila cuando el sonido se torne distorsionado o inestable. Before operating the unit, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference. Precautions • Avoid exposure to temperature extreme, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust, or mechanical shock. Never leave the unit in a car parked in the sun. • In vehicles or in buildings, radio reception may be difficult or noisy. Try listening near a window. • If there is lightning when you are using this unit, take off the headphones immediately.
Notes on Headphones PREVENTING HEARING DAMAGE Avoid using earphones at high volume. Hearing experts advise against continuous, loud and extended play. If you experience a ringing in your ears, reduce volume or discontinue use.
1. Insert a 1.5V, "AAA" size battery 2. Set the ON/OFF switch to ON to turn on the radio. 3. Select the band. FM mode ST (stereo): for FM stereo reception, normally set the ST/MONO switch to ST. MONO (monaural): when the FM reception is poor, set it to MONO. AM: for AM reception. 4. Tune in the desire station. 5. Adjust the volume. After listening, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
To Improve The Reception FM: Extend the earphones cord fully. If functions as an FM antenna AM: The ferrite bar antenna is built into the unit. Rotate the unit horizontally for optimum reception.
To Enjoy Powerful Bass Sound Set the Bass selector to ON to emphasize bass sound.
Notes On A Battery When the sound gets distorted or unstable, replace the battery with new one.
To Avoid Damage From Battery Leakage And Corrosion Remove the battery when you do not use the unit for a long time.
