Safety Warnings
Warning! Read and understand tool labels yy and manual. Failure to follow warnings could result in DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY.
Save These Instructions Use safety equipment. Always yy
wear ANSI Z87.1 safety glasses with permanently attached side shields. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.
Personal Safety Stay alert, watch what you are yy
doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
Explosion Hazard Never use tool in an explosive yy
atmosphere or in the presence of combustible materials such as flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Never use oxygen, carbon yy
dioxide or any other bottled gas as a power source for this tool; the tool will explode and cause serious injury.
Always remove finger from trigyy
ger when not driving fasteners. Never carry the tool with finger on or under trigger. Tool will eject a fastener if the workpiece contact (safety element) is bumped.
PRO
Roof
Always assume the tool contains yy
RoofPRO
fasteners. No horseplay. Respect the tool as a working implement. Keep tool pointed away from yy yourself and others and connect air to tool. Tools shall be operated at the yy lowest pressure needed for the application. This will reduce noise levels, part wear, and energy use.
3
Safety Warnings
Drive fasteners into work surface yy only; never into materials too hard to penetrate.
PRO
Roof
Do not drive fasteners on top of yy
other fasteners or with the tool at too steep of an angle; the fasteners can ricochet and hurt someone.
Ro
ofP
RO
When using tool, care should be yy
taken due to possibility of tool recoil after a fastener is driven. If workpiece contact (safety element) is unintentionally allowed to re-contact work surface following a recoil, an unwanted fastener will be driven. Therefore, allow tool to recoil completely off work surface after a fastener is driven to avoid this condition. Do not push workpiece contact (safety element) on work surface until a second fastener is desired.

Roo
Do not drive fasteners close to yy R

the edge of the work surface. The workpiece is likely to split and the fastener could fly free or ricochet and hit someone.
Never use any part of the tool yy Roo
(i.e., the cap or mainbody ) as a hammer. The tool may activate or become damaged and result in an unsafe condition.
fP
RO
Keep hands and other body yy
parts away from the area shown in the circle to avoid possible injury during operation.

Safety Warnings
Never use tool if workpiece conyy
tact (safety element), trigger or springs have become inoperable, missing or damaged. Do not tamper with or remove workpiece contact (safety element), trigger, or springs.
Roo
fPR
Disconnect tool from air before yy
doing tool maintenance, clearing a jammed fastener, leaving work area, moving tool to another location, or handing the tool to another person.
PRO
Roof
Make sure all screws and caps yy
are securely tightened at all times. Make daily inspections for free movement of trigger and workpiece contact (safety element). Never use the tool if parts are missing or damaged.
PRO
Roof
Store idle tools out of reach of miyy
nors and other untrained persons. Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
RoofPRO
®
Use only parts, fasteners, and acyy
cessories recommended or sold by SENCO. Do not modify tool without authorization from SENCO.
Use only clean, dry, regulated yy
compressed air at recommended pressure.
Do not connect tools to air pressure yy
200 psig 13.7 bar
that potentially exceeds 200 psig or 13.7 bar.

O
Safety Warnings
Air compressors used to supply yy
compressed air to this tool must comply with requirement ANSI/ ASME B 19.1–1995 (U.S.), “Safety Standard For Air Compressor Systems.”
Air hose must have a minimum yy
working pressure rating of 150 psig (10.3 bar) or 150% of the maximum pressure produced in the system, whichever is higher.
The tool and air supply hose yy
must have a hose coupling such that all pressure is removed from the tool when the coupling joint is disconnected.
RO
RoofP
Do not load fasteners with trigger yy or workpiece contact (safety element) depressed.
PRO
Roof
Never use a tool that leaks air or yy needs repair.
PRO
Roof
Do not use tool without danger yy
label on tool. If label is missing, damaged or unreadable, contact your SENCO representative to obtain a new label.
(1) Read and understand tool labels and manual. Failure to follow warnings could result in DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY. (2) Operators and others in work area MUST wear safety glasses with side shields. (3) Keep fingers AWAY from trigger when not driving fasteners to avoid accidental firing. (4) See manual for triggering instructions. (5) NEVER point tool at yourself or others in work area. (6) NEVER use oxygen or other bottled gases. Explosion may occur. (7) MAX AIR PRESS. 120 PSI (8.3 BAR)
Always place yourself in a firmly yy
balanced position when using or handling the tool.

j Squeeze the gate latch and yy lift open gate. k Open Magazine. yy
1 Lift and shift nail disk to accept yy different length nails. Note: Reference points on magazine coincide with nail lengths.
Place the nail coil in the magayy zine. Always adjust magazine to yy
provide fasteners with correct driving alignment. Failure to adjust the magazine will cause the fasteners to not drive properly and could result in injuries to yourself and others.
PRO

This mode of operation is preferred when you desire high production, rapid fastener placement. With a Sequential Actuation yy
(Restrictive) trigger, fasteners can only be driven one way.

This mode of operation is helpful when you require precise fastener placement.
Tool Use
Read the “Customer Satisfaction and Safety Reminder” (CSSR) in the tool and fastener boxes for safety information regarding the Contact-Actuation and Sequential trigger modes. Under certain conditions, the Sequential trigger mode may reduce the possibility of injury to you or to others working with you.
To adjust the depth the fastener is driven: O
R oofP
R
First disconnect the air supply. yy Using your thumb or index yy
finger, rotate wheel to adjust the Depth Control workpiece contact (safety element) to achieve desired depth.
Should a nail jam occur: Disconnect air supply. yy
PRO

Extract bent nail from rear of yy guide body.
ALTERNATIVE Insert a rod and push the point yy of the nail back up and into the guide body bore. Roof
PRO
Extract the nail with pliers or, if yy the nail is loose, turn the tool upside-down and shake it out.

daily inspection to assure free movement of workpiece contact (safety element) and trigger. Do not use tool if workpiece contact (safety element) or trigger sticks or binds.
Squirt Senco pneumatic oil (5 to yy
10 drops) into the air inlet twice daily (depending on frequency of tool use). Other oils may damage O-rings and other tool parts.
Wipe tool clean daily and inspect yy
