INSTALLING THE WORKSURFACE Important Note: Install any optional "Type A" accessories prior to mounting Top. (See attached instruction sheets to install optional accessories.)
If unit is equipped with a Conductive Top: See enclosed sheet for additional information regarding conductive tops.

Pre-installed metal inserts are located on underside of Top for ease in fastening. Secure Top to Frame with fasteners from Kit #84, noting that flat clips are used at each end, while "Z" clips are used at center.
(Kit #84) Position TOP on completed assembly, with rear edge flush with rear of Frame, and centered over each end. Note: Top will overhang 2" at each end and 1" at front. .

Using the Adjustable Height Feature Leg Sections are shipped with a preset workheight of 34-1/2" (including approx. 1" thick worksurface and 5" diameter Casters.
Kit #81
To make a height adjustment, remove hardware from above and below the leg's horizontal crossmember, adjust leg base/extenders (in 1-1/2" increments) and replace hardware. Tighten fasteners securely. Note: Height should be changed in Step 3.

Note: Make hardware hand-tight only until specified. Important! Make certain all components are facing same direction. Front of Frame bears Workplace nameplate; rear of Leg Section bears tapped inserts in outside face of vertical leg tube.

(Kit #81) Fasten FRAME to MOBILE LEG SECTIONS, engaging tapped inserts located in top horizontal crossmember of Leg Sections. (Kit #21) Fasten SWAYBRACE to rear of Leg Sections,engaging tapped inserts located in Leg Sections.

(Kit #38) Set unit upside-down on protected surface to ease installation of casters. Mount CASTERS to base of LEG SECTIONS.

(Kit #42) Fasten MOBILE PLATES to each end of Shelf, aligning pre-drilled holes in both members. Turn unit upright. Secure Shelf to base of Leg Sections, aligning bottom set of pre-drilled holes in Mobile Plates to those located on Leg Plates, as illustrated.
