Your data backed up offsite – safe & secure Offsite backup – Data is automatically uploaded via ultra-secure internet tunnels to storage vaults at Servatech's two secure data centres.
Secure – If FIPS 140-2 encryption is secure enough for the US Government and military, then it’s secure enough for us. Encryption takes place before data leaves your premises and can only be unencrypted using your unique encryption key.
Safe – ServaStors autonomic healing software checks the consistency of your backup on a daily basis, referencing and repairing bad sectors from other copies of your data. Where autonomic healing isn’t possible, engineers are alerted so they can take immediate remedial action. Servatech has a 100% recovery record from its cloud backup infrastructure, including real and monthly test invocations.
Easy file/directory restore – It’s vital to know you can restore data quickly and securely should you need to. ServaStor has one of the most intuitive and integrated file restore processes available. V Safe & secure ServaStor
ServaStor’s offsite vault is located on fault-resilient hardware and autoreplicated to a separate data centre for extra resilience. In addition to your live working copy, ServaStor keeps three further copies of your data in geographically separate locations. ServaStor also uses autonomic healing to constantly check and fix data integrity with an alert system to notify engineers if auto-fix isn’t possible.

Application based replication
Hosted in our secure data centre, virtual servers can be accessed by designated users over the internet wherever they are – in the office, at a temporary location or at home. Because our virtual servers work alongside ServaStor, there’s no need to buy additional hardware. Instead, for a small fixed monthly fee, you can recover anything from your entire IT Infrastructure right down to a single server.
Data provision is included with ServaStor as standard, without adding any disaster recovery options to it. So, in the event that a system rebuild or large amount of data is required, Servatech will deliver your data, via removable media, to your chosen location.

Polypal Polypal is an international market leader in storage and shelving solutions for the retail industry. Servatech has been managing their IT infrastructure for over a decade, catering for all Polypal’s day-to-day IT needs.

England Basketball England Basketball is the national governing body for basketball in England. Servatech has been providing England Basketball with IT services for over seven years as well as developing their IT infrastructure. How secure is secure? With advanced security systems that are monitored by highly trained staff, round the clock, we take the physical protection of your data very seriously indeed. As you would expect, the Node 4 data centre offers the latest in fire protection. The FM200 suppression VESDA system alerts staff at the earliest possible sign of fire by continually drawing air into a pipe network attached to a detector unit on the wall. If a fire is detected, canisters of inert gas, connected to a datacentre wide distribution system, are on standby to extinguish.
