When mouse can not work please use a good USB cable to check if the mouse can function or not ,if mouse can function that means the old USB cable is failed so please replace a new USB cable. If cursor can not move smoothly, please replace sensor (U2). Take plate from mouse To disassemble the mouse, you have to take the plate apart and turn it over. 2. Loose screws Using screwdriver to loose 4 screws as red circle and then you can take the upper cover apart. Version 1.0 Page 8 Service Manual 3. Take apart PCBA Ergo 525(USB+PS/2) Loosen 2 screws as red circle, pick the roller up and disconnect USB cable and then pick PCBA directly. Caution: When you pick the PCBA please do not touch the pins of laser led showed as red arrow if without removing static electricity. The PCBA is the most important part of mouse. Soldering iron Caution: 1.The laser led is easily damaged by static electricity (about 200 V static voltage) when you replace the laser led please do not touch it without removing the static electricity, the laser led PCBA is shown as red circle below photo.
