Setup Audio & Video Devices Skype for Business (Lync) User Guide
Use the following instructions to set up your audio (microphone) and video (webcam) devices for use with Skype for Business (Lync). Setup Your Audio Device 1.
Click the Options gear icon (do not click the dropdown arrow on the right side, click the gear directly).

Select Audio Device in the left Options menu

Under the Audio device heading, select the device you want to use for audio calls. The computer may have default devices chosen, however you may select specific microphones from the dropdown menu. If none are listed you will need to install your device before selecting.

Under the Customize your device heading you can also choose individual components such as separate Speakers & Microphones and use the Playback button to test sounds.

Click the Check Call Quality button to record & replay how you sound. Some attached devices may require additional troubleshooting such as driver & software installation before they can work on your computer.

Click OK when done.

Under the Video device heading, select the camera you want to use for video calls. The computer may have default devices chosen, however you may select specific webcams from the dropdown menu. If none are listed you will need to install your device before selecting.

Click the Camera Settings button to adjust specific properties of the camera. Click OK when done.
