Setup Manual on D-Link DCS-825L/DCS-855L Camera to uHub version 1.0.3 1 Setup Manual on D-Link 825L/DCS-855L at uHub Before proceeding in adding your D-Link camera to uHub, you will need to ensure you have update to the latest firmware for your D-Link IP Camera. Then follow the simple 3 steps below: - Set Port Forwarding at Router; - Setup Dynamic DNS; - Add Camera information to uHub. 1. Set Port Forwarding at Router 1.1 Complete setup camera DCS-825L/DCS-855L through mydlink baby cam app on your smartphone. 1.2 Access into your router to check camera IP address. Ensure your computer is connected to the same router as your DCS-825L/DCS-855L. 30 Note: You may look up “router user device info” from your own router brand in order to trace DCS-825L/DCS-855L internal IP. 2 Setup Manual on D-Link 825L/DCS-855L at uHub 1.3 Open new browser and type in internal IP address to access into the camera. http://ip_address:port/eng/admin/adv_lan.cgi. The camera default http port is 80. Select Static IP Address and fill in the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and Primary DNS and “Save Settings. 1.4 You will need to set port forwarding in your router. You may find this setup in “Port Forwarding” or “Port Mapping” in your own router. Note: e.g. External Port 50001 as first IP Cam and 50002 as second IP Cam. If there are multiple IP cameras connected on the same router. Internal Port can remain as 80 for 1 or more cameras. 3 Setup Manual on D-Link 825L/DCS-855L at uHub 2. Setup Dynamic DNS You can setup Dynamic DNS (DDNS) a method of automatically updating in real time, with the active DNS configuration of its configured hostnames or IP addresses. Below is method is using HKT SmartLiving DDNS and 3rd party DDNS. 2.1 You can setup DDNS for your IP cam. To use HKT SmartLiving DDNS, simply go to http://setup.hktsmartliving.com Input your preferred personal domain and “update” and “confirm”. 2.2.1 Using 3rd party DDNS are also, by typing to http://ip_address:port/eng/admin/adv_ddns.cgi and sign up a free DDNS Service. 4 Setup Manual on D-Link 825L/DCS-855L at uHub 2.2.2 You will require to create an account and hostname with the 3rd party DDNS. 2.2.3 Upon registration, you will need to return to http://ip_address/eng/admin/adv_ddns.cgi and enable DDNS 5 Setup Manual on D-Link 825L/DCS-855L at uHub 3.
