Setup  of  Air  Compressor  BEFORE  certified  Startup  can  occur     Step  1:       Step  2:                       Step  3:                                   Step  4:                                     Remove  plastic  wrap  from  Air  Compressor   Remove  Air  Compressor  from  pallet  and  fasten  to  floor,  using  the  feet  and  anchor  holes  as  a     guide.         Pipe  Air  Compressor  into  air  system  at  discharge  ball  valve.    Recommended  piping  should  be       schedule  40  black  iron,  copper,  aluminum  piping  or  hose  rated  for  150  PSI  or  greater.  PVC     piping  is  NOT  suitable  for  compressed  air  as  it  is  NOT  shatter  proof.    Certified  Technicians  will     NOT  work  on  a  air  compressor  that  is  hooked  up  to  PVC  piping.         Hook  up  Drain  Lines  and  send  to  floor  drain,  outside  or  to  a  PolySep.    There  may  be  multiple     drain  ports  on  either  side  of  the  air  compressor.    PVC,  plastic  tubing,  copper  and  black  iron     piping  are  all  suitable  materials  to  use  for  these  drain  lines.     Step  5:                     Step  6:                           Step  7:                           Step  8:                           Find  Key  attached  to  air  compressor  that  will  open  the  cabinet  doors.   The  key  may  not  open  the  electrical  panel  door,  which  is  where  the     manual  is  located.    You  will  have  to  remove  the  plastic  covers  and     unscrew  the  bolts  with  a  magnetic  10mm  nut  driver.       Open  all  cabinet  doors  and  find  the  operators  manual  and  CD  inside  the  electrical  cabinet.   If  Applicable,  find  instructions  for  removing  the  shipping  brackets  within  the  air  compressor.   If  Applicable,  follow  instructions  for  removing  the  shipping  bracket  (Red)  and  installing  last  bolt.     Step  9:                         Step  10:                                     Step  11:     Step  12:                           Tie  in  115  volt  power  to  Air  Dryer.   Tie  in  Main  power  supply  into  leads  marked  L1  /  L2  /  L3.       Also,  please  note  the  “wire  to  ground”  port.   An  electrical  schematic  is  located  on  the  panel  door   to  ensure  proper  setup  of  wiring.   Please  remove  ALL  “Notice  and  Cautionary”  tags  from  inside  of  the  unit.   Check  oil  sight  glass  /  fill  port  to  ensure  that  air  compressor  has  Oil  (Ultracoolant)  in  it.   Step  13:                         Locate  Startup  kit  which  has  the  extra  oil  (Ultracoolant)  within  it  as  well  as  the  150  hour  oil     filter.    Certified  Technician  will  explain  proper  time  to  change  this  filter.         NOW  IT  IS  TIME  TO  SETUP  CERTIFIED  STARTUP  OF  YOUR  AIR  COMPRESSOR!
