SFS101B Spa Speaker Installation Instructions The Speaker assembly mounts to the Spa Skirt wall just below the Bar top (Fig. 6) 1 Contents: 1. Speaker Assembly with Cable 2. Top Cover 3. Bottom Cover 4. Hardware (4) Mounting Screws (2) cover screws (2) Rubber Caps Fig. 7 2 3 4 Fig. 2 Cutouts Fig. 6 Fig. 1 The Speaker cable can be routed along the skirt top, bottom or passed through the tub skirt. Cutouts (Fig. 2) are provided on the Trim covers to accommodate the speaker cable exit. If you choose to rout the wire inside the skirt a 1/2“hole is required for the connectors. (Fig.3). Be sure the area behind is clear before drilling. Fig. 3 . Before mounting the front trim cover must be in place. (Fig.4)With the speaker in the middle position gently insert the cover and snap into place. (Fig.5) be sure all 5 contact points have snapped in place. Fig. 1 Fig. 4 Find a suitable location (Fig.6) and mark the 4 mounting holes. Drill 4 1/8 “pilot holes and attach the speaker to the Skirt with the 4 self tapping screws provided. Fig.8 Fig.9 Fig. 10 The rear Trim cover can now be attached. Ease the cover into place being sure to engage the tab on the front cover (Fig. 8) then press the cover into place. (Fig.9) Use the 2 machine screws to fasten the cover to the mounting plate. (Fig.11) Cover the screws with the rubber plugs provided.
