Read and understand these instructions before using this appliance. 2. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference. 3. Maintain the appliance in accordance with these instructions to ensure that it functions properly. 4. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other uses not recommended in this manual may cause fire, electric shock or injury. 5. Pass these instructions on to any third party who will be using the appliance. Usage and Operation 8. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer. 9. Do not forcibly press the foils down, as this may damage the rotating blades or appliance. 10.Do not attempt to remove or reattach the rotary blades while the appliance is operating. 11.Do not disassemble the appliance. 12.Do not use in a bath or shower. 13.This appliance is intended for household use only and cannot be used for industrial or commercial purposes. 14.Never drop or insert any object into any opening on this appliance. 15.Do not use outdoors or operate in the presence of aerosols or where oxygen is being administered. Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall socket. 3. Place the shaver into the charging base. The blue charging LED will illuminate. 4. Allow the unit to charge until the blue LED flashes. 6 Using Your Shaver The shaver will work best when your face is dry. Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get used to the shaver. 1. Remove the protective cap and press the On/Off button to turn the shaver on. 2. Press the shaver's foils to your skin. Stretch your skin with your free hand and move the shaver back and forth in the direction of your beard. 3. If needed, open the trimmer by sliding the trimmer handle upwards. Place the trimmer at a right angle to your skin and move it downward to trim sideburns. 4. Turn the shaver off. 5. Replace the protective cap and place the shaver in the charging base. 7 Cleaning and Maintenance Regular cleaning will keep your shaver in good condition and maintain the cutting performance. If the shaver is plugged into the power adapter directly, disconnect it before cleaning. Each week: 1. Clean the shaver head with the included cleaning brush. 2. Press the head release button on the front of the shaver head. The shaver head will open automatically. 3. Rinse the hair chamber only under clean running tap water. 4. Press the shaver head back down until it clicks back into place. Every two months: 1. Press the head release button. The shaver head will open automatically. 2. Grasp the blade bracket firmly and pull it outwards. 3. Remove the three rotary blades and foils from the shaver head by popping them out with your fingers. 4. Clean the rotary blades and foils carefully with the supplied brush. 5. Insert the foils back into the frame, ensuring the protruding keys are aligned with the outer edges of the frame. 6. Add a drop of machine oil or shaving head cleaner spray to each foil. 7. Insert the rotary blades back into the foils. 8. Align the blade bracket with the shaver head and press it firmly back into place. 9. Press the shaver head back down until it clicks back into place.
