14-WATT POWER HUB The 14-Watt Power Hub is a battery charger and power distribution center that provides up to 12.5 watt hours of power. Comes with 4 high capacity rechargeable AA NiMH batteries. Once batteries are charged, the Power Hub may also be used to discharge the power into small handheld devices such as cell phones, smart phones, MP3/iPods, or Wind ‘N Go®, SolaDyne® flashlights, lanterns, or Aervoe® LED Flares. Will also distribute power from non-rechargeable AA batteries. Alternatively, remove charged batteries and install in other devices using AA batteries. CAUTION: To avoid overheating and damage to the AA batteries while they are charging, disconnect your device from the Power Hub. CHARGING RECHARGEABLE Batteries 120V AC or 12V DC Charging (adapters included): 1. Slide the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER open and install 2 or 4 rechargeable AA batteries into the Power Hub. Match the positive (+) and negative (-) indicators located in the bed of the Power Hub to the battery label. 2. Plug the male DC output plug from either charger into the INPUT PORT of the Power Hub and then plug the 120V AC wall charger or the 12V DC vehicle charger into the appropriate electrical socket (depending on which charger is being used). 3. The LED indicator light will illuminate red to show that the batteries are charging. Once a full charge has been achieved it will change to green. 4. When using the 12V DC Vehicle Charger, keep your vehicle’s engine running to protect your the battery. Plug the tip into your device. 3. Your device should immediately start charging. Once charging is complete, unplug it from the Power Hub. 4. If you have a specific USB charging cable for your device, connect the USB plug to the USB Output Port and the other end to your device. 5. Or remove charged batteries from the Power Hub and install them into any AA battery powered device. 6. Some Apple products may display the error message “this device is not supported.” Apple devices require specific power requirements and may be due to inadequate stored power in the Power Hub. Check that batteries are fully charged and retry. USING NON-RECHARGEABLE AA BATTERIES Non-rechargeable batteries like common Alkaline batteries may be used in the Power Hub to charge devices from the Power Hub. CAUTION: Do not attempt to recharge these batteries as fire, explosion, injury and damage to the Power Hub may occur.
