INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Unhook brake line from master cylinder, remove master cylinder, and all of old master cylinder gasket. 2. Drill the hole using a 5/32” bit. Hole location is 1/2” left of center and 1” down from top of master cylinder. 3. Tap hole using a 10-32 NF tap. NOTE: Use thread sealant on all threads. Do not let 4. Thread in brass fitting (#4) excess sealant contaminant system. 5. Thread nipple into back of master cylinder (#6) 6. Thread solenoid (#2) on nipple. Ensure side marked as “IN” is threaded into nipple. KIT #5404 PARTS LIST 7. Install brass elbow (#7) into side of REF. PART solenoid marked as “OUT”. NO. NO. QTY. DESCRIPTION 8. Slide two crimp clamps (#5) over hose 1. 04594 - EPDM Black Tubing (#1) and hook up hose to the two brass 2. 05561 1 Solenoid Valve fittings. 3. 05681 1 Master Cylinder Gasket (not shown) 9. Crimp clamps (#5) 3. 09153 1 Master Cylinder Gasket (not shown) 4. 10373 1 Brass Fitting Str. .2 HB x 10-32 NF 10. Bolt master cylinder and NEW gasket 5. 10374 2 Crimp Clamp back onto the actuator. 6. 10375 1 FTG .125 MPT x .125 MPT Nipple 11. Thread existing brake line to the back 7. 10376 1 Brass Elbow 1/8” MPT x .2 HB port on solenoid. 8. 07283 1 10mm Washer 12. Attach one wire to hot reverse lights, Please order replacement parts by PART NO. and DESCRIPTION and attach other wire to a good ground.
