Existing power and data to remain
A. Refer to Project Information Sheet for legend of Reference Symbols and other graphic indicators/symbols. B. This plan is for location of outlets, furnishings, equipment and related architectural notes. Refer to Engineers' electrical plan for circuiting. Notify Architect and stop all work on affected areas if any discrepancies exist between architectural plans, engineering plans and existing conditions. Any work done prior to Architect's written authorization to proceed shall be at the general contractor's risk. C. General Contractor to provide empty outlet box and pull string to ceiling plenum above at all communications, thermostat, security and misc. control outlets as shown on this plan, engineered drawings, mechanical drawings and other plans & drawings as provided by other vendors and consultants. Where these locations occur in insulated partitions, Contractor to provide conduit and pull string to ceiling plenum. Tenant's cabling vendor to provide and install all necessary cabling and blank coverplates at existing telephone / data receptacles not being used. D. Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local codes. E. Re-use existing outlets, as possible, that are within 18" (laterally) of location shown, unless otherwise dimensioned on plan. Ensure conformance to all specifications as outlined here and in engineered electrical plans. F. All outlets shall be mounted at 18" A.F.F. to centerline, unless noted otherwise. G. New outlets located behind millwork shall be located at 42" A.F.F., horizontaly installed unless otherwise noted. If any discrepancies exist, notify Architect immediately. H. All electrical, communications and miscellaneous outlets shall be mounted plumb, secure and tight to the wall and at the same height, unless noted otherwise. I. Gang adjacent outlets with one cover plate as possible. J. Outlets dimensioned are to centerline of fixture or group of fixtures. Architectural dimensions take precedence over Engineer's drawing for all fixture locations. K. Outlets located back to back are to be staggered either side of an intervening stud. L. All electrical, communications and other outlet cover plates shall be consistent in color and match existing, match building building standard, or to be selected by Architect. Contact Architect during submittal process for determination of color. M. Provide GFCI protection at outlets as required by code. N. General Contractor to verify all core drills in field to avoid any existing structural elements (beams, pipes, mechanical units and the like). Notify Architect of any discrepancies prior to proceeding. Contractor to x-ray and/or verify structural components as required by field conditions and/or by building owner. P. Electrical subcontractor shall provide a rated assembly to match adjacent conditions at all new, existing or abandoned wall and floor penetrations. Where floor outlets are removed, provide abandonment cap and seal to maintain fire rating and in such a manner without a noticeable deflection or rise in carpet or finished floor surface. Final determination shall be made by Architect. Q. Every office and workstation has one personal computer. PC outlets to be designated with gray receptacles. R. All equipment is to be provided and installed by tenant, unless noted otherwise (refer to Equipment Legend). S. The General Contractor shall coordinate all floor and wall outlet locations for systems furniture with the furniture installer. Contact furniture installer directly. T. General Contractor to coordinate with Tenant for telephone and cable requirements, provide and install all necessary blank cover plates at existing telephone / data receptacles not being used. Include cost as a separate line item. U. No electrical or data added to exising rooms to remain (E ###), unless noted otherwise.
