The heavy-duty, 16-gauge steel solidly supports up to two PIX 260i video recorders side-by-side. Included • 1 - PIX-RACK • 1 - Blank panel • 8 - #6-32 x 1/4” screws • 4 - #10-32 x 3/8” screws Installation Install the PIX 260i video recorders into the PIX-RACK before installing the assembly into the 19-inch rack. 1. The PIX-RACK is shipped with the blank panel installed. If installing two PIX 260i units into the PIX-RACK, remove the blank panel by removing the 4 #6-32 x 1/4” screws that secure it. If installing a single PIX 260i, flip the PIX-RACK so that the open space is on the desired side. 2. Slide the PIX 260i into the desired side of the PIX-RACK, with the face of the PIX 260i towards the rack ears of the PIX-RACK. 3. Align the holes on the PIX 260i with the holes on the PIXRACK so that the face of the PIX 260i is approximately 1/2 inch beyond the rack ears of the PIX-RACK. 4. Using a hand-held screwdriver, drive a #6-32 x 1/4” screw (provided) into each hole. The mounting screws provided are designed for the purpose of mounting a PIX 260i to the PIX-RACK. Do not use any other screw for this purpose, or damage may occur to the PIX 260i. 5. Turn the assembly over and repeat step three for the bottom mounting points. Once the PIX 260i video recorder is installed into the PIX-RACK, the entire assembly is ready to be mounted into the 19-inch rack. Assistance from another person is recommended for this step. 6. Carefully slide the PIX-RACK / PIX 260i assembly into the 19-inch rack and align the holes on the rack ears with the holes on the 19-inch rack. 7. Drive the #10-32 x 3/8” screws (provided) into each of the four available holes in the PIX-RACK rack ears. © 2012, Sound Devices, LLC
