Virtual Classroom: This relates to the three primary interfaces in the LearnLive web conferencing/self-study platform. These interfaces consist of: o Student Interface o Presenter Interface o Reporting Interface Admin: This is the administrative website for the LearnLive platform. Site: https://admin.learnlive.com. Note: Items marked with an asterisk (*) are schedule for early release as part of version 5.2.1, with a release date of 4/30/2007. University Shared company catalogs for users.
Users that currently operate cross-company will have the option of sharing the catalogs of other companies. If a company allows their catalog to be shared, users from other companies will be able to view their own company’s catalog in addition to those of the shared company. Users will be able to add shared catalogs from the company’s login page, and manage existing shared catalogs from their profile page.
Ability for users to purchase additional seats for a group webcast session after the initial time of purchase (Society InSight only.) Additional security protection in “Forgot Password” utility. Extensive help system implemented. Update to pass/fail tracking for Society InSight group proctors (Society InSight only.) If a user hits an internal page link, they will be asked to log in and will then be

taken directly to the desired page. During the auto-register process from an external portal, students will be taken directly to the webcast launch page, where applicable. Upon enrolling in a program, the user will receive a popup confirmation with explicit instructions on launching the program. Webcast launch button and others will be re-skinned to improve visibility. Group proctors will see no default value in the status field, to eliminate accidental pass/fail of students. Users taking the system test will be notified when they have lower than the required bandwidth level. Enrolled students will see a list of courses that are set to expire within the month on their My Learning page. Custom image/html/flash available in place of University’s “Free CPE” button. Passwords will be stored in hash/encrypted format. New student registration text on login page will be customizable. Virtual Classroom Screen/application sharing.

Option to make all Q&A for an event private. Additional “on-the-fly” Q&A views & alerts for presenters. Ability to check one’s own audio.
With the use of a pre-installed driver (required by presenters only,) the Virtual Classroom will offer screen/application sharing, fully recordable and archive-ready. Presenters will be able to “mark up” their slides on the fly, or alternately draw on a blank slide. This feature will only be available in the live webcast environment. This field, chosen per webcast, will hide all but the individual user’s own questions & answers. Presenters will be able to select a number of alertstyles to better alert them of newly asked questions. Presenters will be given the ability to check their own microphone audio, for quality and volume.
Audio-only webcasts will automatically create audio-only archives. Presenter photos (for audio-only webcasts) will carry over into streaming rebroadcasts. Recording timer in presenter interface

“No participation tracking” option for webcasts. Company administrators will be given the ability to “test launch” their courses from the admin site. The presenter interface will be reorganized to better accommodate all available features. Presenters will be able to push their video into the slide window for an enlarged video display. Bandwidth requirements will be significantly higher in this mode.
Clients will be able to create and email customized marketing newsletters based on upcoming programs or featured articles. A new system will allow clients to author their own self-study courses by uploading slides and handouts, adding assessments and recording audio/video. The finished product will be a fully-functional, CPE- or CLE-worthy course. Each company will have the option of saving a fixed number of “company presets” in the player customization wizard, for ease of repeated use. The date range filter will show only courses that are active during the date range, instead of courses that were initially available during the date range. Clients that have child companies will be given the ability to choose additional registration fields from the child companies, not only that of their own. Registration date & completion date will be (when selected) visible on same report. Course ID # will be listed in an optional row for multiple-course reports. “All” filter will be added to company drop-down. Status & completion date will appear in separate columns for improved Excel export. When using this option, no certificates or credit of any nature will be issued.

Switch to turn hot topics on/off per program will be available in program wizards. Field for “Will use archive” will exist in the webcast wizard, for better tracking/creation management of archives. The process of linking existing instructor bios to existing users will be clarified. Email will be sent automatically when required number of pilot testers have completed the pilot test form for a given course. All drop-down lists in the admin site will be organized with name first and ID second, for easier keyboard shortcutting. Company admins will have access to the podcast editing wizard. Upon an administrator changing/resetting a user’s password, the user will be asked to update their password during the next login. Wizard date/time fields will be typeable.
