Epygi Technologies’ iPhone Application: iQall Using iQall, users of the Quadros can make free calls from their iPhone. Quadro users dial the number they want to call to from their iPhone, and iQall will send a request via the Internet to their Quadro IP PBX to connect their iPhone with the dialed number. If users have a GSM plan with free incoming calls, they do not have to pay any charges for calls made while using iQall. Cost savings and calling convenience Since the connection to the destination is established by the Quadro, users do not need to pay for that call leg on their iPhone even if they are making international calls. If the iPhone is not locked to a specific carrier, users will save even more on roaming charges when traveling. In order to do this, users must install a SIM card from the local carrier and make calls using iQall. The Quadro located in the country where the user is located will call the iQall user back via an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) or any other carrier configured in their Quadro, thus connecting the call. The user’s SIM card will not be charged at all. In cases when the Quadro is using the carrier (cellular, local, long distance or VoIP) for connecting the call, some charges may apply to the call legs which use the carrier. What are Your BENEFITS? Simple, one-step dialing to any number in the world Free calls for those who have GSM plans with the free inbound calls No cellular roaming charges Easy calling to PBX extensions Available on all IP PBX models Features How it works iQall uses a Quadro IP PBX for establishing calls between a user’s iPhone and dialed numbers anywhere in the world. After installing iQall on an iPhone, the user must configure the application with the Quadro IP PBX and dial or select the number they wish to call. iQall sends via the Internet the request to the Quadro IP PBX to connect their iPhone to the dialed number. The Quadro then calls the user back via a carrier(s) and connects them to the dialed number. Irrespective of their location, users are able to make calls using their iPhone to their co-workers in the office or customers just by dialing the extension number. This method is the same as if they are calling from their office desk phone. In addition, the users can make use of their iPhone contacts to make speed dial calls via Quadro.
