CHALLENGES IN SURGERY MEETING 2017
13245
February 23 –24 | Hamburg, Germany
WELCOME Dear Colleagues, It is our pleasure to sincerely welcome you to the Olympus meeting “Challenges in Surgery” in Hamburg, which is the first in a series that is expected to continue. Our aim is to present and discuss innovative topics and developments in surgical endoscopy among leaders in this field from around the world to meet your current and future clinical needs. We will focus on hepatopancreatobiliary procedures, particularly clinical innovations. The application of new technologies is crucial to push the boundaries in minimally invasive surgery. Another focus is on educational concepts thanks to the clinical cases presented as well as the roundtables. This meeting supports both interactive discussions and the sharing of best practices between faculty and participants in an open atmosphere. We would be most grateful if you could join us for this event. Brice Gayet and Bjørn Edwin
