Announcing the Digital Single Line Telephone We are very pleased to announce an exciting new addition to the Toshiba 2000-series digital telephone product line. The Digital Single Line Telephone (DKT2001) represents a low cost offering for stations requiring basic operation. This telephone provides many of the capabilities of the other 2000-series digital telephones. It also provides much greater functionality than analog single line telephones. Your customers will receive the benefits of a lower cost alternative for applications requiring simple telephone functions.
Description The DKT2001 looks similar to the existing 2000-series telephones. It has the same aesthetics, but a smaller footprint. It is narrower because there are no programmable buttons and no LCD. The DKT2001 comes in the same charcoal gray and ash white colors. It also has the same matte finish to resist dirt and fingerprints.

Features
Because it is a 2000-series digital telephone, the DKT2001 connects to the same digital station ports as other 2000-series digital telephones. This makes it compatible with all Strata DK and Perception® systems that support digital station ports.

The DKT2001 uses the same handset, cord, and pull-out tray as the other 2000-series telephones. And, it can be wall-mounted by reversing the base. Overall, this new telephone fits in well with the existing 2000-series digital telephone product line.

The DKT2001 is added to our existing 2000-series digital telephone product line as our lowest price offering. It will be very useful for price sensitive applications requiring basic digital telephone functionality. However, it may not be suitable for some applications, such as hotel rooms where guest modem connections are required.

Because it is a 2000-series digital telephone, the Digital Single Line Telephone (SLT) connects to the same digital station ports as other 2000-series digital telephones. This makes it compatible with all Strata DK and Perception systems that support digital station ports.
Pricing

The DKT2001 is very cost effective. Its price, using digital station ports on a PDKU card, is actually slightly below the price of analog single line telephones using standard station ports on a RSTU card.
