Instructions for Quantum Talking Alarm Clock with temperature report, in silver TIM-230-520-3720 Press the top button of the clock to announce the time. Press the top button of the clock twice rapidly to announce the temperature. Press the “lock” and “date” button together to announce the date. SETTING MODES: Press and hold the “lock” and "mode" buttons together for 2 seconds to activate the setting mode cycles listed below: -alarm sound setting, alarm hour setting, alarm minute setting -year setting, month setting, date setting -time hour setting, time minute setting -12/24 hour setting, temperature setting -male/female voice setting -count up timer setting, count down timer hour setting, count down timer minute setting -normal time TIME SETTING In “time hour setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the hour then press the “mode” button to confirm. In “time minute setting" mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the minute then press the “mode” button to confirm. ALARM TIME SETTING In “alarm hour setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the alarm hour then press the “mode” button to confirm. In “alarm minute setting" mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the alarm minute then press the
“mode” button to confirm. ALARM SOUND SETTING In “alarm sound setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and "set" buttons together to choose the alarm sound then press the “mode” button to confirm. Select from 3 different alarm sounds: rooster, beep or chime. SNOOZE FUNCTION When the alarm sounds, press the top button of the clock. The alarm will stop and then start again in 10 minutes. Press any of the other buttons to stop the alarm. CALENDAR/DATE SETTING In “year setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the year then press the “mode” button to confirm. In “month setting" mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the month then press the “mode” button to confirm. In “date setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the date then press the “mode” button to confirm. ALARM ON/OFF SETTING In “normal time” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “mode” buttons together to set the alarm on or off. CHIME FUNCTION SETTING In "normal time” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to set the chime on or off. CELSIUS AND FAHRENHEIT SETTING In "temperature setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to select Celsius or Fahrenheit. 12/24 HOUR SYSTEM In "12/24 hour setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set”
buttons together to select the time display in either 12-hour or 24-hour format. MALE AND FEMALE VOICE SETTING In "male/female setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to select male or female voice. COUNT UP TIMER SETTING The maximum count down/up time is 23 hours/59 minutes. Press the “date” button to turn the count up timer on or off. After the count up timer reaches 23:59, the timer will start counting from 00:00:00. To reset the timer to 00:00:00, when the timer is in stop mode, press the “set” button once. COUNT DOWN TIMER SETTING In “count down timer hour setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” buttons together to adjust the hour then press the “date” button to turn the countdown timer on or off. Press the “mode” button to confirm. In “count down timer minute setting” mode, press and hold the “lock” and “set” button together to adjust the minute then press the “date” button to turn the countdown timer on or off. Press the “mode” button to confirm. In “count down timer hour and minute setting” mode, when the timer is in stop mode, press the “set” button once to reset the timer. When the countdown timer reaches 00:00:09, the clock will announce every second. When the countdown timer reaches 00:00:00, the alarm will activate and sound for 1 minute. To stop the timer, please press any button. **If the display malfunctions, press the “reset” key to restart the clock or change the batteries.
