Dear Valued Lantronix Customer, The purpose of this communication is to inform you of the updated firmware for SecureLinx SLM Management Appliance version 3.4. Beginning May 23th, 2011 SLM will begin shipping with version 3.4. Version 3.4 includes many new features, some highlighted below as well as bug fixes.

NFS v4 includes performance enhancements, mandates strong security and introduces a stateful protocol Support Internet Protocol (IP) Security (sec) protocols to support virtual private networks Set SLM to automatically save configuration data to local disk or NFS mount. UPDATE AVAILABILITY Customers with existing SLMs, electing to take advantage of the new features and capabilities of the v3.4 firmware, may upgrade their units at no additional charge. An update patch, installation instructions, updated user guide and release notes will be available on May 2nd 2011 from the Lantronix website at: http://www.lantronix.com/support
