Rack Mounting Kit for 19-inch Racks
RM-5 RM Kit for Installation of One or Two Units
KIT CONTENTS • One long rack adapter • Eight round-headed screws
• Four flat-headed screws • Four brackets
EQUIPMENT NEEDED • A 3 mm (0.12-inch) Phillips screwdriver
• Four 5 mm (0.2-inch) Phillips screws.
INSTALLATION
Warning ➤
Disconnect all cables including the power cord from the unit before performing the installation procedures.
To install one unit (see Figure 1): 1.
Insert the unit through the hole of the long rack adapter.
2.
Attach a bracket to each side wall of the unit using the round-headed screws.
3.
Attach the brackets to the long rack adapter using the flat-headed screws.
4.
Place the unit in the rack and fasten the long rack adapter to the side rails of the rack using two 5 mm (0.2-inch) screws on each side (not included in the kit).

To install two units: Repeat the steps explained in the single unit installation (see Figure 2).
