Velocitykvm-8 The Thinklogical™ Velocitykvm-8 Multi-Mode Fiber Optic System consists of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit connected by three multi-mode fiber optic cables (or by one to three optional single-mode fibers). The transmitter unit connects to the computer with standard cables and the receiver unit provides connections to the user interface devices. The Velocitykvm-8 supports PS/2, full duplex stereo audio, serial (RS-232), USB 1.0 (HID) device ports, USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 (high speed up to 480Mbps). Connect it to the CPU DVI Video Card and the other end to the VelocityKVM Transmitter’s Dual-Link DVI IN connector. STEP 1: Ensure that the POWER ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position (0) on both the Tx and Rx units. Connect the supplied AC Power Cords to both units and plug them into a standard AC supply. Note: In order to id possible exposure avoid to laser energy, it is good practice to attach the fiber optic cables prior to applying power to the unit. CAUTION! DVI Display Out 1 Cable Kit (8 six ft. peripheral cables.) KIT-000005-R All physical connections to the product use industry-standard connectors. 3 * Display Data Channel: Communicates supported display modes to the CPU. This is the PRIMARY DISPLAY and should be used when only one monitor is connected. When 2 monitors are used, the display modes of both DVI outputs will follow the DDC of the primary monitor.
