New firmware has been release with some major changes in the controller and its functionalities. Whats New in this release:
CUSTOMER VALUE
In order to rationalize the ranges of controllers , Machine Solutions decided to eliminate the S0-Type references from its catalogue. The consequence is that a customer using the S0 type controller (references TM238LFDC24DTS0 and TM238LFAC24DRS0 ) today with a solution project developed with SoMachine versions V3.1 or earlier will not be able to purchase S0 type controllers anymore to run his project. Nevertheless he will be able to run his project on a G type controller with the firmware V2.0.31.10 with any reference :TM238LFDC24DT,TM238LFAC24DR,TM238LDD24DT TM238LDA24DR CORRECTION/IMPLEMENTATION: FW V2.0.31.10 Management of S0 and G type controllers. Answer: To zero out a block of registers using IEC in Concept 2.2 and above use a block called IEC_BMDI that can perform this function. The block was designed to move a source block to a destination block. This can be used to zero out registers. This block is comparible to the BLKM instruction in 984LL. It is located in the LIB984 of the FFB Library.

Answer: FAQ2 M238 has been tested with Modem SR2 MOD3. With this modem you can do : - Using GSM modem, it is possible to send/receive SMS messaging. - Using SMS or RTC modem, - To setup communication between 2 PLCs in order to exchange data via Modbus
