Broadcast and control video signals on up to 512 displays By transmitting a video signal from the computer or player to the appropriate displays, the ExpandView CAT5 is the key contributor to the actual digital signage performance. The video distribution product you choose is a significant part of the project budget. That’s why choosing for the ExpandView CAT5 is vital in ensuring a successful and affordable digital signage installation. Setting up a digital signage installation has never been easier. Simply connect your computer’s VGA output to the Broadcaster Module. Run a CAT5 cable from the broadcaster Module output port to a Remote Module for each connected display. Connect the Remote Module to the display, with a standard VGA cable. If you want to connect more than 8 displays than the 8 way Broadcaster supports, simply use a CAT5 cable to connect an output port of the broadcaster to a Line Splitter’s input port. This will give you the option to connect another 8 displays. Repeat this to connect up to 512 displays.
