PREPARATION NOTE: It is a statutory requirement that ALL work is carried out by a ‘competent person’ which in normal circumstances would be a GAS SAFE registered engineer. 2.1 Turn off the gas supply at the gas service cock, and switch OFF and disconnect the electrical supply to the appliance before you start the replacement. 2.2 You must have to hand the Installation, Servicing & Maintenance Instructions for this appliance. Or visit our website www.johnsonandstarley.co.uk to download the information. 2.3 To gain access to the WarmCair heater refer to section 16.3. 3. FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE AIR PRESSURE SWITCH 3.1 Disconnect the electrical wire connections. 3.2 Disconnect the two air pressure tubes. 3.3 Remove the 2 screws holding the electrical panel assembly to the casing. 3.4 Unclip the condensate trap. (Beware there could be water in this.) 3.5 Unclip the air pressure switch from the mounting bracket on the back of the electrical panel. 3.6 Replace with new. Re-fit in reverse order. NOTE: Make sure the air pressure tubes from the Air Circulation Fan and wires from the electrical connections are in the correct position. The high air pressure tube from the fan goes to P1 and the low air pressure tube to P2. See Figure 2. AIR PRESSURE SWITCH P1 TO TOP OF ACF P2 TO BOTTOM OF ACF SCREW ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FIGURE 11.
