The art of Stealth The PASSPORT 8500ci Plus is the culmination of Escort’s development in custom-installed radar detection systems. Combining supercharged radar and laser detection with discreet installation, you can be sure your detector will be unseen and unnoticed.
DEFENDER® DATABASE The 8500ci Plus comes pre-loaded with the locations of New Zealand’s red light and fixed-position speed cameras stored in its memory. As you approach these locations, the 8500Ci will alert you in advance, you can even add your own “hot spots” using our exclusive Mark Location feature.

PASSPORT 8500ci Plus’s patented antenna design provides long-range protection against all known radar and laser guns, including “instant-on” and the elusive “POP” mode. K and Ka band segmentation allows us to super tune the 8500ci for maximum performance. Speed camera detection is enhance by the lower K Band sweep.
The all-new PASSPORT 8500ci Plus International incorporates the performance of windshield detectors into a total built-in discreet defense system. The waterproof Radar/Laser sensor is mounted in the front grill, while the miniature display controller mounts easily in the vehicle’s interior. The result is no visible cords and no unwanted attention.

SPEED-BASED RADAR PERFORMANCE
The PASSPORT 8500ci Plus uses our patented GPS technology to lockout false alarms, (automatic door openers and security motion sensors) by exact location and frequency. The result is the most accurate reporting of real threats in the industry.
PASSPORT 8500ci Plus’s unique AutoSensitivity mode varies radar sensitivity based on your vehicle’s speed. The result is maximum radar performance when you need it most.
