SUBSCRIPTION-VIDEO-ON-DEMAND (SVOD) GUdTV is excited to introduce SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand). GUdTV SVOD service offers you a library of programs to any of the Premium Channel or Subscription On Demand channels. Pricing for these subscription channels varies by package. When you subscribe to a premium channel (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz!/Encore) you will get that premium channel’s on demand programming FREE! Enjoy shows at your convenience with hundreds of hours of content to choose from each month, including blockbusters, original movies, series and events. Every premium on demand program comes with full DVD functionality with just your remote control. With new titles added every week, there is always something to watch. You access the Subscription-Video-On-Demand (SVOD) interface by selecting set-top box Menu bar and then pressing OK.

Browsing the Subscription-Video-On-Demand Library In order to access SVOD programs, you must be subscribed to the SVOD package. Once subscribed, you can play all titles in the package.
To access the On Demand interface: 1. Open the On Demand application. 2. Press and to select the category select a category called “Premium Channel”:

Continue pressing to browse the SVOD categories of the premium channel category. Press and to scroll to different titles within the same category. 4. When you’ve selected a title of interest, press OK. The screen shows these action options:

Play: Press OKAY and SVOD will begin to play. More Info: Press OKAY and additional information on the will display including movie rating, Synopsis, and length of movie. Here you can select play or cancel to go back. View Trailer: Press OKAY and it will play the official trailer of the movie. Note: not all movies have this option. Cancel: Press OKAY and you will be brought back to the previous screen.
5. Use the Fast-forward, Rewind, Pause, and Play buttons to control your viewing. To end your viewing, press the Stop button.
Searching for Movies You can use the Search feature to find a movie title. To do this: 1. While in the On Demand application, press . The search soft keypad appears at the left of the screen:
2. Press and to sequentially select letters you want to add to your search word, then press OK to add each one. Note these search rules: • Search is only performed against movie titles, not against movie descriptions or price text. • Spaces in the search text mean OR. For example, if you search for JUMP VALOR, the movies “Jump Street” and “Act of Valor” (if they’re available) will be among the found movies. • Every search item is run against the start of words. For example, the search term JUMP will locate the movie “Jump Street”, but the search term UMP won’t. 3. When you’ve spelled the text to search for, select Search, then press OK. The set top box locates any movies whose title matches the text you entered. 4. Select a movie of interest and then press OK. The Rental terms, More Info, View Trailer, and Cancel options appear.
Viewing Free Movies Only To view only free movies in the movie catalog and press . The set-top box displays only free movies. Press again to return the listing of all movies. If you press OK when a free movie is selected, a Play option is displayed instead of the Rental terms option.

How do I subscribe to Subscription Video packages? You can subscribe to a SVOD package using your remote control. Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew and can be cancelled at anytime. After the service subscription has been ordered you can select the SVOD Category in the Main Menu Bar. If you subscribe to a premium movie channel, you will automatically have access to that channel’s SVOD programming. 6. How can a customer unsubscribe to an SVOD package? To cancel a SVOD subscription, customers will be required to unsubscribe from the package using their remote control otherwise they will be billed automatically for the content, monthly. 7. Can the same program be seen on two different TV’s in the house? Yes. 8. Can I record a SVOD program on DVR? No. Embedded copyright code prevents Video On Demand from recording to DVR.
