E-Class SRA Smart Access Enable dynamic user access on any device, browsers or client Introduction Dell SonicWALL E-Class SRA Smart Access offers transparent, dynamic deployment of the appropriate access method based on user identity, endpoint security or zone classification and resource desired. Users simply enter an address into a browser and the SRA appliance determines the optimal access method for them, whether they are coming in from the Mobile Connect app or a browser on a smartphone or tablet, or a thin client or browser from a Windows®, Macintosh® or Linux® device. With easy real-time access to information from everywhere, users do more, whether they are in or out of the office. Multiple options for easy access By providing all access through a single gateway, Smart Access technology offers unmatched security, an easy, unified experience for the end user and a common management platform for IT. Dell Mobile Connect™, available as a mobile app for Apple® iOS , Mac OSX, Kindle Fire and Google® Android™ mobile devices and embedded with Windows 8.1 devices, provides users with simple, policy-enforced mobile access to corporate and academic resources over encrypted SSL VPN connections. E-Class SRA WorkPlace™ provides out-ofthe-box clientless browser access to Web and client/server applications, and file shares from Windows, Macintosh and Linux unmanaged devices, including home computers, public machines, smartphones and tablets. E-Class SRA Connect™ adds a Web-delivered thin client for Windows, Mac and Linux managed devices for a complete “in-office” experience. In addition, E-Class SRA Connect Service Edition delivers remote application-to-application access. Truly secure everywhere access With E-Class SRA SSL VPN technology, you get the granular access control, split-tunneling capability, and NAT and firewall traversal you need to provide your users with truly secure everywhere access. And your users don’t have to think about how they access any of the corporate resources that they need because Smart Access automatically determines and deploys the right remote access method for them. Secure per app access to corporate resources from personal mobile devices Users simply enter an address into a browser and the SRA appliance determines the optimal access method for them. 2 New with Secure Mobile Access OS 11.0 for E-Class SRA appliances and Mobile connect 3.1, administrators can establish and enforce policy to designate which mobile apps can be granted access to the network. This ensures that only authorized mobile business applications, such as secure containers and VDI, utilize VPN access. Unlike competitive solutions, only the Dell Secure Mobile Access solution requires no modification to mobile apps. Any mobile app or secure container can be supported without modification, app wrapping or SDK development, speeding deployment and reducing costs. In addition to establishing a per app VPN access policy, the Dell Secure Mobile Access solution validates the digital signature of the mobile app prior to granting access, ensuring the integrity of the app, and further reducing the risk of malware infecting the corporate network. The solution also helps enforce and track mobile worker acceptance of personal device authorization policy terms. The terms of the policy are customizable by the administrator. SMA OS 11.0 records devices registered to users and the time of registration for tracking and auditing purposes, reducing legal risk. Broadest application reach Dell SonicWALL E-Class SRA using enhanced Smart Tunneling™ technology, make it easy to provide users with unparalleled application reach, including support for UDP, TCP and IP protocols, as well as back-connect applications such as those using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Because Smart Tunneling offers a patent-pending Layer 3 connection for full network application access, your users get the application access they need, along with complete policy control and security, so you can finally replace your IPSec for remote access.
