New design Jake Brake® are now used on all year 2000–build Series 60® on-highway vehicle engines and all other Series 60 engine applications requiring engine brakes. DETAILS AND REASON
New design Model 795 Jake Brakes are used on all year 2000–build Series 60 on-highway vehicle engines manufactured on and after August 10, 2000. Model 795 Jake Brakes are also used on all year 2000–build Series 60 engines requiring an engine brake. Model 795 Jake Brake took effect with engine serial number 6R-613173. New Jake Brake model 795 features:

Solid adjusting (set) screws Lash setting is now at 0.8128 mm (0.032 in.) Cam lobe modification (101J cam) — injector cam roller lift at TDC is 6.527–7.594 mm (0.257–0.299 in.) Injector Timing Height is at 82.1 mm (3.232 in.) Provides slightly better braking performance at high rpm
New tools to be used:

9/16 in. socket wrench for the nut 3/16 Allen wrench 0.81 mm (0.032 in.) feeler gage for lash Injector Timing Height tool, J 45002
