An easy dock extender! Our 30 pin dock extension cable now lets you dock your iPad, iPhone or iPod to your iHome from a distance. Now you can keep your case on your device and also utilize earphones if desired. Size: 2 feet long. Weight: 10 oz. 1. To use the 30 pin dock extension cable with your adapted iHome (#597 or #598 as shown in Fig. 1, 2 & 3). Plug the female end of the cable into the iHome’s dock connector. Next plug the other end of the cable into your iPad, iPod or iPhone’s charging connector at the bottom of the device.

2. Using the 30 pin dock extension cable allows you to utilize a set of headphones for quite listing while still giving you control over your device with switches.
Fig.1 Care of Unit: The 30 pin dock extension cable can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
