SUMMARY: This modification concerns the fan motor, not the drive motor as in dryers with reversing option. The modification also applies in dryers without reversing option, since there is only one motor for both the fan and drive. It concerns both single-phase and three-phase motors. The single-phase motors are less noisy in this execution. The noise level of the three-phase motors was never considered high. Therefore, it remains within the original parameters, although a slight improvement might be present. New fan motors have a double shaft (one side for the fan impeller and the other side for the belt pulley as in the case of dryers without reversing option), regardless of their use in a machine with or without reversing.
