Sitka  Fine  Arts  Camp  Packing  List     Musical  Theater  Session     All  Students  should  bring:      Gym  shoes  for  the  gym    Water  bottle    Camera  (optional)    Comfortable  walking  shoes     All  performing  students  should  bring:      Clothes  that  are  appropriate  for  movement  (especially  for  dance  classes  and   physical  theater  –  sweat  pants  and  comfortable  tops  that  can  be  layered.)    Character  shoes*    Jazz  shoes*    Skin-­‐toned  tights  (girls  only)    Stage  makeup*   *If  you  do  not  have  any  of  these  things,  that  is  fine.  Bring  the  things  you  have.     All  technical  theater  students  should  bring:      Black  clothing  for  working  backstage  during  the  shows       Dorm  Students  should  bring  (in  addition  to  the  items  listed  above):      Alarm  Clock    A  pillow  and  a  warm  blanket  and/or  sleeping  bag  (it  can  be  quite  chilly  at   night)    Towel  &  Washcloth    Soap,  toothbrush,  and  other  toiletries    Flip  Flops  for  showering    Warm  clothing—the  average  temperature  during  the  day  ranges  from  50-­‐60   degrees  during  the  summer    Clothing  for  warm  weather—although  Sitka  is  cool  most  of  the  time,  we  do   see  the  occasional  day  in  the  70s  or  (very  rarely)  80s    Warm  Jacket    Raincoat    Shoes  you  don’t  mind  getting  wet    Back  pack    Quarters  for  laundry  ($5.00/load—soap  is  provided)    Sleep  mask  if  you  are  a  light  sleeper    Comfortable  clothing  for  hiking  on  recreation  day    Hat  and  gloves    Medication  (if  applicable)
