The backup battery is on. Prerequisite: a SIM card is inserted and the mobile terminal is on. Launch: Start menu ⇒ Settings ⇒ Connections ⇒ Wireless Manager … Backup battery switch – on Insert SIM card  Remove the battery.  Push the locking of the card holder down.  Swing open the cover of the card holder.  Carefully insert the SIM card. The conical corner should be top left, the contacts of the SIM card should rest on the contacts of the board. Switch on the phone by clicking the "Phone" line. Enter the PIN and press [Enter]. Close all dialogs. Launch: Start menu ⇒ Settings ⇒ Connections ⇒ Connections Under "My ISP" start the "Add a new modem connection" function. Enter the name of the connection. Select the modem. Enter the "Access point name" (APN) of your provider. Enter "User name", "Password" and "Domain" (if required). Click the [Advanced] button. If required, adjust special TCP/IP settings. The new connection is displayed in the list under "My ISP". Tap and hold the stylus onto "My Connection". 15. Select "Connect". The connection is established. 16. Launch: Start menu ⇒ Internet Explorer When the phone is switched on ("Wireless Manager" menu) the modem connection will be automatically activated when a browser is called.  Push the locking upwards, thus locking card holder incl. inserted card. Scan barcodes Insert Battery Note: Prior to initial operation, the storage battery should be completely charged. To do so, place the device into the docking station. Insert the storage battery with its noses at the rounded part into the relevant recesses inside the battery compartment. Press the battery until it audibly engages. Call HWImagerTool to test the scanner function: Start ⇒ File Explorer ⇒ Windows ⇒ HWImagerTool.exe HWImagerTool executes in the background and can be identified as a symbol in the Notification Tray. Calmly and angularly hold the skeye.dart in the direction of the barcode to be scanned. A peep indicates that the entry of the barcode has been successful. The distance should amount to about 5-10 cm. An aid to orientation could be the skeye.dart lettering: aim with the red dot. HWImagerTool can be used to scan into any text field (e.g. WordPad). Data Synchronisation  Switch on Device To switch on the device, use the middle, round key. Power on key Install on your PC the program for data synchronisation of a PC with a mobile device. This program should be appropriate to your operational system.
