The equivalent of this service letter has been incorporated on production airplanes -0088, -0154, -0177, -0182, -0183, -0184 and -0186 and On. REASON The nose landing gear requires an extension measurement to ensure proper operation. DESCRIPTION This service letter provides instructions to measure the nose landing gear strut extension. COMPLIANCE MANDATORY. This service letter must be accomplished within 200 flight-hours or one-year from the date of receipt, whichever occurs first. NOTE: The airplane must be on jacks for another reason to complete the service letter. LABOR HOURS WORK PHASE

All Citations identified within the serial number effectivity of this service letter.
Parts Coverage:
Cessna-owned and Cessna-authorized Service Facilities, operators, or other maintenance facilities may submit a Citation Claim Form for the parts required to accomplish this service letter.
Labor Coverage:
Cessna-owned and Cessna-authorized Service Facilities may submit a Citation Claim Form for the labor necessary to accomplish this service letter. Please note Labor Hours Requirements for coverage guidelines.
Credit Application:
All work must be completed and the Citation Claim Form submitted before the date shown below. Send the Citation Claim Form, along with any required parts (see Material Availability), to the point of purchase. Prepare the airplane for maintenance. A.
Make sure that the airplane is electrically grounded.
B.
Make sure that all switches are in the OFF/NORM position.
C.
Disconnect electrical power from the airplane.
D.
(1)
Disconnect the airplane battery.
(2)
Disconnect external electrical power.
Attach maintenance warning tags to the battery and external power receptacle that have "DO NOT CONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER - MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS" written on them.

Make sure that the nose landing gear is off the ground.

(Refer to Figure 1, Detail A) Measure the nose landing gear extension. A.
If the nose landing gear is extended 8.85 inches or less, go to Step 4.
B.
If the nose landing gear is extended further than 8.85 inches contact Team CJ at 1-855-832-9831, 1-316-517-7785, or

Remove the maintenance warning tags and connect the airplane battery.
5.
Record that this service letter has been completed. A.
Complete a Maintenance Transaction Report.
B.
Put a copy of the completed Maintenance Transaction Report in the airplane logbook.
C.
Send a copy of the completed Maintenance Transaction Report to: CESCOM C/O Camp Systems International Incorporated, 8201 East 34th Street North, Building 1100 Suite 1101 Wichita, KS 67226.
