Follow the three steps below to connect, setup and make recordings on your DVD-VCR.
If you have neither of the above tuners : You have :

Please contact your cable service or satellite service company to ask cable box or satellite receiver with video/audio output.
Cable With No Cable Box
Please contact your cable service to ask cable box with video/ audio output.
Antenna Only (No Cable TV/No Satellite Receiver)
You need to subscribe to a cable TV or satellite TV service and to get a cable box or satellite receiver with video/audio output.

The indicator appears in the display window and the VCR stands by for recording. Timer recording will operate properly regardless if the DVD-VCR is turned on or off.

hint Don’t know which device you are operating? If the remote does not seem to function, you may be operating your TV, not the DVD-VCR. Set the TV/DVD-VIDEO switch on the remote. Also, some buttons work only for the DVD player or the VCR. Be aware of the one you are controlling: check the “DVD” or “VIDEO” indicator in the display window and select by pressing SELECT DVD or SELECT VIDEO.

hint Why is the indicator flashing in the display window? The indicator flashes when a timer setting is set with no tape to record on. Insert a tape with its safety tab in place.
