RECEPTACLE SPRINGS Per Service Specification 4514. V. CONTACT ADJUSTMENT Per Service Specification 4514, except as follows for PN-50BL-2 relays: Under Table 1 of Service Specification 4514 the thickness of the spacers for Test 3 should be 0. 024", 0. 020", and O. 030". Tlie thickness of the spacer for Test 4 should be O. 019", and the holddown torque for Test 12 should be 100 grams·. VI. CALIBRATION Per Service Specification 4514 except as follow_s: A. Adjust the relay to meet the D. C. values. in the proper tables of this specification. If the coil is double wound, or if ·iwo coils are used independently, calibrate with each winding.· On PN-50BL relays,"ert~rgize a singlewound coil or the high resistance winding of a double wound cotl on the standard coil terminals.on the mounting base. On PN-50BL-2 relays, energize two coils connected in multiple or series, or the high resistance coil of two coils on the standard coil terminals on the mounting base. Energize the low· resistance winding of a double wound coil or the low resistance coil of PN-50BL-2 relays by connecting the positive power lead to the "L+" terminal and the negative power lead to the "L-" terminal. · B. Following calibration on D. C., the relay should be tested on A. C., if required, using the circuit shown in Fig. 1 or Fig. 2 as applicable.
