The SM1A2 has external SM1 threads and internal SM2 threads, while the SM1A1 has external SM05 threads and internal SM1 threads. This allows the combining of Ø1/2", Ø1" and Ø2" optical elements within one system. The clear aperture through the SM1A2 is Ø0.945" while the clear aperture through the SM1A1 measures Ø0.450". The SM2A6 provides an external SM2 and internal SM1 thread for positioning the adapter within a lens tube.
