USB Connect your computer here. Auxiliary inputs Connect your SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard projector to Aux In 1 and any other audio input to Aux In 2. Line out/ALS out Connect a recording feed or an assistive listening device here. Room module connection Connect your room module here. 2 Microphone Microphone input 3.5 mm jack for optional external microphone input | Q UI CK R E F E R E NC E – S MART AUDI O CL ASS ROOM AMP LIFI CATI O N SYS TE M To turn on the microphone Press any button for one second. To turn off the microphone Press the mute button for four seconds. Soft button Press to mute auxiliary audio input at the control unit. Volume up Press to increase the  microphone volume. Auxiliary input 3.5 mm jack for MP3 player or other audio source Status light • Green – On and connected to the  room module • Flashing green – Muted • Amber – Not connected to the  room module • Flashing red – Low battery or charging Mute Press to mute the microphone. Volume down Press to decrease the microphone volume. To adjust auxiliary input volume Press the mute button and then press the volume buttons to adjust volume for auxiliary audio inputs connected to the control unit. To charge the microphone Place the microphone facing forward in the microphone charging cradle after each use.
