SMART Board® 6000 series interactive flat panels Connector panel You can use the connector panel on the left side of the interactive flat panel to connect a room computer, guest laptops and other devices. SMART Board 6055 and 6065 interactive flat panels
The SMART Board® 6000 series interactive flat panels feature SMART’s proprietary DViT® (Digital Vision Touch) technology and combine a premium touch experience with the power of SMART Notebook® collaborative learning software on an LED display. These interactive flat panels are also SMART kapp iQ™ enabled, which provides simple and powerful digital whiteboarding.

Turning on the interactive flat panel The interactive flat panel’s presence detection sensor can detect people up to 16' (5 m) away when the interactive flat panel is in Standby mode. When the sensor detects people, the interactive flat panel turns on. Touching the screen activates the interactive flat panel. The interactive flat panel returns to Standby mode when the sensor doesn’t detect people in the room for a while.
After you’ve connected computers and other devices to the interactive flat panel, switch between these devices by pressing the Input Select button

The interactive flat panel is available with SMART kapp iQ functionality. You can share whiteboard sessions with others using your mobile device. Participants can contribute to the whiteboard session from their computers or mobile devices. To take advantage of SMART kapp iQ functionality, install the AM30 appliance in the accessory slot located on the back of the interactive flat panel.

1. Press Shapes .
The new page appears after the current page. To write or draw in digital ink 1. Pick up one of the interactive flat panel’s pens. The dynamic toolbar for that pen appears on the screen. You can press the dynamic toolbar to expand it, and then change the pen’s style (pen or highlighter), color and thickness. 2. Use the pen to write or draw in digital ink. NOTE The Pen ID™ feature enables the users to customize the colors and other settings for their pens independently. To erase digital ink Move the pen’s eraser over the digital ink you want to erase.

The shape tools appear. 2. Select a shape tool. 3. Create a shape by pressing on the screen and dragging until the shape is the size you want. To draw a shape 1. Pick up one of the interactive flat panel’s pens. The dynamic toolbar for that pen appears on the screen. 2. Press the dynamic toolbar to expand it, and then select the Shape Recognition pen

3. Draw a shape on the page. To type new text 1. If you’re not using the computer’s keyboard, press the SMART Board icon Keyboard. 2. Press Text

Undoing and redoing actions Navigating workspaces To pan 1. Press the screen in a blank area of the workspace. 2. Drag in the direction you want to pan. To zoom in, Drag your fingers away from each other.
To reverse the last action, press Undo

Saving your work To save a file 1. Press Save

2. Browse to where you want to save the file. 3. Type a file name and press Save. To zoom out, drag your fingers toward each other.
