Assembling Instructions: 1. Attach the Top Panel (B) to the Station Base (A) by inserting Bolts (E) through the pre-drilled holes located at the bottom of the Top Panel (B) and into the corresponding pre-drilled holes in the base of the Station. . 2. Tighten the two Side bars (F) on both side of the station base (A) by inserting the Small Bolt (D) through the pre-drilled holes in the bars and into the side panels. Operating Instructions: 1. Make sure Speaker is turned off (Rotate Volume dial all the way to the left). 2. Insert small end of the enclosed AC Adapter (J) into the Adapter Input located in the power supply box (G). (Refer the illustration on the next page). 3. Plug the standard end of the adapter into a Power Strip (I) socket in the power supply box (G). The Power Strip plug comes out from the back of the Station and should be plugged into a 120V AC power source (Standard wall outlet). NOTE: Use only power adapters with the following specifications: Input AC 120V 60 Hz; Output: DC 12V 1000mA, UL Listed. 4. To use an iPod with the Station, first turn the speaker off (rotate the Volume dial all the way to the left.), Then attach the iPod to the dock located at the front center of the docking station. This docking station will automatically function as a charging unit for your iPod product. * Included is a set of 5 Universal Dock adapters (K). 4. iPod Nano Generation 3 4GB/8GB 5. iPod Touch 8GB/16GB/32GB To play with MP3 Plug stereo cord (H) into the audio jack (next to the power indicator light see illustration as below). Plug the other end of the Stereo Cord into the headphones jack on your MP3 player.
5. Turn the speaker on by rotating the volume control knob to the right until you see the power indicator light next to the volume knob stand illuminate. 6. Play music using iPod or MP3’s controls and adjust the volume either by using the speaker shelf’s volume knob (rotating the dial to the right increases the volume) or your MP3 player’s volume control. You may need to experiment to find the right volume setting for iPod or the MP3 player and/or the speaker set.) Note: The audio jack and iPod speaker can not play music at the same time. When you play music through iPod pin docking please make sure to plug off the audio jack. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. To avoid item tilting forward, mounting to the wall is recommended. For safe mounting, it is essential to use the proper hardware for your wall type (Drywall, concrete, etc). Contact your local hardware store for assistance if necessary. Mount to wood studs whenever possible. 1. Tighten the adjustable “L” metal plate (N) on the right and Left side panel of the item on pre-drill hole by using 1/2” round head screw (M). 2. Place the Smart station at the desired position. Mark the insertion point for the plastic anchor (O). 3. Using the plastic anchor (O) included or the proper hardware for your wall type. Drill 1/4” hole, insert the plastic anchor (O) into the wall, and tighten the adjustable “L” metal plate (N) to the plastic anchor (O) by using 1-1/2” mounting screw (L). 4. May adjust the “L” Metal plate (N) to have item flush with the wall.
