CAUTION 1. Be sure to use and purchase a dedicated double-bladder cuff, or you cannot get accurate results. 2. Do not use a cellular phone near the device, or it may cause electromagnetic interference, and thus result in an operational failure. 3. Relax yourself and breathe naturally before measuring, please keep quiet and keep correct posture in measuring process. Incorrect posture (for example, incorrect sitting posture, the height of measuring position is inconsistent with the height of the heart) or non-quiet status (for example, limbs shaking, head and body swing, talking and being nervous) may cause measuring results not correct. 4. Do not attempt to maintain or modify the device by yourself. Please contact the manufacturer or authorized distributor if maintenance service needed. 5. Repeat measuring the same person with an interval of at least 1 minute, because too frequent measurements may cause injury to you due to blood flow interference and get incorrect measurements. 6. Double-bladder cuff should not be overly persistent, and the pressure should keep below the value of 300mmHg, or it may cause arm blood be unable to timely reflow. 7. Do not use the cuff when arm is wet or sweaty, please use it after wiping up. 8. Do not subject the monitor or the AC adapter to strong shocks, such as dropping on the floor, otherwise it may damage the unit . 9. Do not soak the unit or cuff in water. 10. Operate the device only as intended. Do not use the device for any other purpose. 11. Do not store or use this device outside the specified temperature or humidity range, or it may not achieve the claimed performance. 12. If the monitor and battery achieved longevity, do not arbitrarily discard them, they should be processed according to the local environmental protection regulations in order to avoid environmental pollution. 13. The cuff and Li batteries are classified as consumables. 14. The cuff still meets safety and performance requirements after cycle use for 10000 times; Li batteries capacity will decrease after charge-discharge for 300 times. NOTES: 1. When in idle state (the 2nd process of measuring blood pressure), press the button “
” for about 5 seconds, the blood pressure monitor will enter in “P mode” for
measuring. In this state, users have two methods of exit: a. Press the button “
” for
about 5 seconds; b. Wait for 15 to 20 seconds to automatically exit (no-operation), users please don’t do this operation if unnecessary. 2. Calibration should be made every three years. It should be sent back to Shenzhen RSP Medical Technology Co., Ltd or its authorized distribution for calibration.

charged battery.
APPLYING THE CUFF
1. When measuring, take off the thick garments and keep the upper arm bared. Thin clothing does not affect the measurement if it does not take pressure to the arm.
2. Put your arm through the cuff loop with the monitor installed on the cuff be at the middle of the arm. After placing the cuff correctly, straining the tail of the cuff to fasten the cuff.
NOTES: 1. Do not put your thick clothes into cuffs, and the bottom of the cuff should be approximately 1cm above the elbow. 2. It will get an incorrect result when the cuff is applied too tightly or too loosely, it is advisable to put in a finger, that is to say, a finger can be put in freely between the cuff and arm.
POSTURES INSTRUCTIONS
1. Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
Model LBP30 Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor
2. Place your arm on the table so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart.
3. Be relaxed and breathe normally before measurement.
NOTE: Your arm cuff and heart should be on the same level; otherwise, measurement accuracy will be affected.
SETTING UNITS
In shutdown status, press and hold the button “
” for over 5 seconds to enter unit
setting mode. When “mmHg” displays on the screen, it means the unit is “mmHg”; if “kPa” displays on the screen, it means the unit is “kPa”.
Model LBP30 Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor
NOTE: If you need to reset the units, you must turn the monitor off, then operate the unit according to the above steps.
TAKING A MEASUREMENT
This monitor has two different units optional: mmHg and kPa. The default unit is “mmHg”. The following interpretation take “mmHg” for example. Users should try to relax the body before measurement, and then sit for 2-3 minutes. Users are advised to be measured at the same time daily. 1. Apply the DualCuff correctly (refer to the section “APPLYING THE DUAL CUFF”) and set right measuring postures (refer to the section “POSTURES INSTRUCTIONS”). Do not move your hands in the process of measurement.
2. Press the button “
” to start the monitor, and then it shows “-0-”, thus enter
standby mode.
3. Press the button “
” to take a measurement.
4. When the screen shows the error code of “EE” during inflation process, Please consult the “ERROR INDICATORS”.
5. After the bladder inflated successfully, the monitor begins to test the pulse wave.
Model LBP30 Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor
6. After inflation stopped, the bladder will deflate with a constant speed, the monitor enters the measuring state and the value on the display goes down.
7. After the measurement finished, the DualCuff deflates quickly, and your blood pressure and pulse rate will show on the display. First systolic blood pressure and diastolic pressure are shown, two seconds later, pulse rate is shown. The blood pressure and pulse rate will be shown on the display circularly.
8. Press the button “
” to turn off the monitor. If you want to quit the
measurement in the process of measurement, please press the button “
”.
NOTES: 1.
The monitor will automatically turn off after 60 seconds without operation.
2.
Do not repeat the measurements in a short time, or it may cause the arm blood can’t timely return which may result in incorrect results. A new measurement can be started after at least 1 minute once the previous measurement finished.
3.
If in the measurement process the body movement occurs, an error message will appear (refer to the section “ERROR INDICATORS”) , please re-measure and keep quiet until the measurement finished,
Model LBP30 Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor
4.
If in the measurement process a system error occurs for some reasons which result in measurement failure or the cuff is excessively inflated, please press the button “

Field strengths from fixed RF transmitters, as determined by an electromagnetic site survey.a should be less than the compliance level in each frequency range.b Interference may occur in the vicinity of equipment marked with the following symbol:
NOTE 1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies. NOTE 2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic is affected by absorption and reflection from structures, objects and people. a
Field strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for radio (cellular/cordless) telephones and land mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM radio broadcast and TV broadcast cannot be predicted theoretically with accuracy. To assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, an electromagnetic site survey should be considered. If the measured field strength in the location in which the Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor is used exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor should be observed to verify normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as reorienting or relocating the Smart Pulsewave Blood Pressure Monitor.
