SmartZone™ Hardware World-Class Breadth of Power Monitoring IP Network Applications: • Typical power deployment, each PDU requires an IP address and direct connection to network • Addresses standard requirements of power and environmental monitoring, up to 2 sensors per PDU • Do not connect to gateway
NetworkEnabled Rack PDU
Applications: • Advanced environmental monitoring up to 12+ sensors per cabinet • Access control and beacons • Switch port conservation via connection to gateway
GatewayEnabled Rack PDU
Applications: • Non-invasive power monitoring for existing single phase in-cabinet power infrastructure • Utilize gateway for network connection
Applications: • Power monitoring for existing incabinet power infrastructure • Requires disconnection of existing power to install between feed to cabinet and existing PDU • Utilize for 3rd party cabinets (eg EMC storage cabinet)

SmartZone™ Hardware Gateway-Enabled Architecture
• Centralizes Device Management Consolidates multiple devices into a 1RU gateway through RJ45 ports to simplify connection and expansion of devices
• Primary/Secondary Network Interface Design Simplifies the network architectures and lowers overall power consumption by retaining all non-essential intelligence, electronics, and provides DC power monitoring supply within the gateway
• Utilizes a single IP Address Reduces number of physical IP ports required, reducing the allocation of capital IP costs and management overhead
9
SmartZone™ Hardware Environmental Sensors Examples of the types of sensors we carry include Temperature Sensors Detect the air or surface temperature of equipment in and around a rack, cabinet or room in a data center.
Humidity Sensors Measure relative humidity of air and abnormal conditions to ensure the environment does not get too moist or dry, thus preventing damage to equipment.
Airflow Sensors Measure air velocity in and around a rack, cabinet, ceiling or wall.
PIR Sensors Passive infrared receivers, which constantly monitor the infrared energy levels around a room and recognize change caused by entry of an intruder.
Smoke Sensors Enable immediate data capture and alerting of potentially fatal smoke or fire conditions at different IT and facility domain points, in either new or retrofit installations.
