There are only a few short steps to complete the installation of your SmartZone™ Cabinet. Step 1: Power on the SmartZone™ Cabinet PDUs Step 2: Configure the cabinet for monitoring Step 3: Install the RMS software (supplied disc) Step 4: Register your copy of RMS at panduit.com/support Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for each additional cabinet. Step 1: Connect Power Devices to the Power Supply Plug the PDU power cords into the power feed. (See the Gateway-Enabled PDU Installation Manual for details.) Note: The default door access codes are: Admin (54321), Tech (12345), and Support (11111) Step 2: Connect the Windows PC and the Gateway via Web Browser Refer to the SmartZone™ Gateway EPA126 User Manual for detailed instructions

Connect the Gateway to the PC, either directly or across a LAN. Open a web browser on the PC and enter: http://192.168.0.253 When the Gateway Web Management Interface loads, enter admin for both the login and the password. Enter the IP Address for the Gateway via Setup>IP Config. Change IP Address, Mask, and Gateway. Click Save. 5. Go to Setup>SNMP NMS. Enter the IP Address for the computer where the RMS software will reside. Click Save. Note: Change other default settings (Name, Location, Access Codes, etc.) as needed. Consult the Gateway EPA126 User Manual for instructions. Step 3: Install and Configure the SmartZone™ Rack Monitoring Software Refer to the SmartZone™ Rack Monitoring Software User Manual for detailed instructions Panduit’s SmartZone™ Rack Monitoring Software allows the configuration and monitoring of multiple gateways from one interface. (You need to perform these steps only once.) 1. To install Rack Monitoring Software, double-click on the setup.exe file and follow the prompts of the Setup Wizard. 2. To configure the software, follow the detailed steps found in the Device Configuration section of the SmartZone™ Rack Monitoring Software User Manual. 3. Add the Gateway’s IP Address to RMS, again using the Device Configuration section of the User Manual. Step 4: Register your copy of RMS at panduit.com/support Repeat for each additional cabinet - add each gateway in the Rack Monitoring Software Contact technical support at
