Precautions 1.
Do not use the Tablet in extremely hot, cold, dusty or damp environments.

Do not drop the Tablet when using it, nor get it wet.
3.
The usage life of battery is subject to the operating condition and environment.

Please charge the battery in the following instances: A. The icon of battery level shows weak B. System powers off automatically, and powers off again after restarting C. Keys do not work.
5.
During the formatting or uploading/downloading, do not disconnect the MID from the PC. Disconnection during updating or data transfer may damage files or the Tablet.
6.
Static discharge to the cable during connection to the computer may corrupt files or the storage area of the Tablet.
7.
The images in this manual may vary slightly from actual product.

Dismantling the Tablet will void the warranty. Please check the trouble shooting section of this manual if experiencing problems.

10. The product software is design to only be compatible with this specific hardware. Do not attempt to change the program or the software. 11. The MID Tablet is equipped with the touch screen, so keys on machine surface are for assistance only.

Basic Operations Power On/Off • •
To power on/off the MID, please press power key and hold for 3S. This period will need several seconds, please wait patient.
LCD on/off • After powering on the MID, if you are not watching video, you can short press power key to turn off the LCD to save power. To turn on the LCD, please short press power key again. Note: The screen is locked also when the screen is turned off, to unlock the screen, please pull the lock icon upward on the home screen.
Touch screen operation • Touch: Touching any function icon on the screen launch the desired application. • Moving application icons: Touch and hold any icon on home screen until it magnifies and drag it to the desired position. • Deleting application icons: Touch and hold the desired icon until the icon magnifies and drag over to the recycle bin icon on the right side of the screen. Note: This function will ONLY delete the icon from the home screen. This will not delete the application

Scrolling: Drag your finger on the screen can scroll UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT.
Resetting the Tablet • If your Tablet is not responding, please press the reset button located on the right side of the unit to reset the unit. Save power • To save the power, in system setting interface, please set Brightness to a lower level and the Screen timeout to a shorter time. Charging the Tablet • The MID can be charged via the included charger. When the Tablet is on, the battery icon shows pulse under the charging state and shows full when the charging is finished. • If the Tablet is off and the charger is plugged in, the Tablet will be automatically turned on and the charging process will begin. • The full charge time is about 6 hours. It is normal for the Tablet surface to feel warm when charging. G-sensor • When enabled, this function will automatically rotate the screen to the orientation of the Tablet. • To Enable/Disable: Go to Settings → Display and touch the Auto-rotate screen. A green check will appear when the feature is activated. Notifications • From the top of the screen, touch and drag down to bring out the notification window. • This will bring out all the notifications you have pending.

Basic Operations Cont. Status Bar • The top bar of the Tablet will show the following information: Home, Wi-Fi, Battery level, Time, Volume +/-, Back Arrow, Submenu pop-up. •

Home screen Press the home icon on the top left corner of the screen to go to the home screen.
There are 4 home screens. You can switch between them by dragging your fingers on the home screen left or right.

Touch to view all programs in your Tablet. This will show all your installed applications in alphabetical order. To put a short cut on the “Home” screen, simply touch and hold any of the installed applications until the screen goes to the “Home” screen. Drag and place the icon on the desired position and let go. To place the icon the another “Home” screen page, simply touch and hold then drag the icon left or right and let go the place icon.

Note: There are 4 “Home” screen windows you can use for application shortcuts.
Internet Browser • • • •
Touch the “Browser” icon on the home screen or from the applications screens. Touch the address bar to enter a website address (on-screen keyboard will show-up) and simply type in the desired website, or touch the “Bookmarks” icon to view your Bookmarks, Most visited and History. To Bookmark a website, simply touch the “Submenu” icon on the top right corner of the screen, then touch “More” and touch “Add bookmark” and type the desired name\ for the Bookmarked website and touch “OK” to save. Touch the Submenu icon to bring up the following: - New Window: This will allow you to open another browser window without closing the other window. - Bookmarks: This will bring out your bookmark list, Most visited and History. - Windows: This will allow you to switch between open browser windows. - Refresh: This will allow you to refresh a webpage. - Forward: This will allow you to go forward. - More: This will bring up Add bookmark, Find on page, Select text, Page info, Share page, Downloads and Settings.

Touch to open a new window. Touch to add bookmarks and view website most visited and history. - To clear history, please touch sub-menu key to popup the history clearing item.

Basic Operations Cont. Settings Touch the Settings icon on the main screen or in the application screen to enter settings page. The following will be displayed:

Wireless & networks: This will allow you to enable/disable Airplane mode, Bluetooth, WiFi, view/setup your Wi-Fi and VPN settings. Sound: This will allow you to modify the following sound settings, Silent mode, Volume, MID ringtone, Notification ringtone, Audible touch tones, Audible selection and screen lock sounds. Display: This will allow you to change the following: Brightness, Auto-rotate screen, Animation and Screen timeout. Touch Calibration: This will allow you to calibrate the touch screen, if it’s not working properly. Location & Security: This will allow to change the setting for the following, Set up screen lock, Visible passwords, Select device administrators, Install from SD card and Set password. Applications: This will allow you to manage, Unknown sources, Compatibility mode, Quick launch, Manage Applications, Running services and Development. Account & Sync: This will allow you to enable/disable, Background data, Auto sync and add account for Facebook, Skype, etc… Privacy Setting: This will allow you to reset the unit to factory settings. SD card and device storage setting: This will allow you to view the available space on the Tablet, and any inserted SD/USB drives (not included). Language and keyboard: This will allow you to select your desired language and keyboard. Voice input & output: This will allow you modify the Text-to-speech settings. Accessibility settings: This will allow you to modify any installed application with accessibility features. Date & Time setting: This will allow you to set the time and date. About device: This will show you the following, Status, Battery use, Legal info, Model number, Android version, Kernel version and build number.
Connecting to a PC and File Transfer • • • •
Connect the Tablet using the supplied USB cable, and wait for the drivers to install. On the top left side of the screen the android robot will appear indicating you are connected to a PC. From the top of the screen, touch and drag down to bring out the notification window, and touch “USB connected”. The USB connected screen will show up. Touch the “Turn on USB storage” box to begin transferring files between your Tablet and your PC. (The Android logo will turn from green to orange)
The Tablet will appear in your “My Computer” as a USB Storage device.

Basic Applications App-Installer This will allow you to install APK programs that were downloaded from a PC. Email Use to view your emails. Video Player Use this application to play supports video formats. Music Use this application to play supported music files. Gallery Use application to view stored pictures files from your device or any inserted SD/USB flash drives. HDMI Switch This application will allow you switch where the display will be displayed. (Mini HDMI to HDMI cable required not included). Calculator Basic Digital Calculator Calendar This is a basic digital calendar that will allow you to setup appointments or reminders. Clock This will display the current time and allow you to set an alarm, view a slide photo slide show and play music. File Browser This will allow you to view your stored files from your Tablet, SD and USB drive. Search This will allow you to search for music files, video files and applications. Market This will allow you to buy and download application from the Android market place. Browser Basic Internet browser for viewing websites.

Trouble Shooting
Problem
Reason
The unit will not turn on. No sound from speakers or headphones
Battery is low or dead.
Static sound Files cannot be downloaded.
Cannot open web pages or the market. Applications will not run
Solution
Make sure the unit is charged. If the unit is charged, reset the unit. Volume is set to “0”, Make sure the volume level is not “0”. earphone not plugged in Make sure the headphones are properly plugged-in all the way. Reset the unit. Back video/audio file(s) Make sure that the file being played is not corrupt and that it has the proper format. Memory full or USB/SD Make that the internal memory is not card is not inserted full. Check the connected USB cable, properly. USB flash drive and SD Card and make sure they are properly connected. Make sure the file(s) being downloaded are not corrupt. Internet connection Make sure that you are connected to weak or not connected a Wi-Fi network with internet access. to Wi-Fi Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on in the settings menu. Application files are Make sure to update an application corrupt or need update. when it prompts to update. Try uninstalling the application and reinstalling it.
