Slide enclosed wrench nut over sleeve tube. Mate wrench nut to sleeve flange and turn wrench nut with appropriate wrench. The plunger, return spring, and flange seal may now be removed. Remove (4) cover screws. If cover cannot be easily lifted off of body, laterally tap cover or gently pry cover from body with a screwdriver. Care must be taken to not damage diaphragm cover, or body. Diaphragm return spring(s), diaphragm assembly, and O-rings can now be removed. ASCO: Gently pry off red plastic cap. Firmly press on green solenoid coil and slide metal data plate to release and remove solenoid coil. Remove (4) solenoid base screws. If parts are worn or damaged, install a complete ASCO Rebuild Kit. REASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS PARKER: Refer to exploded view drawing for proper valve. Parts must be replaced in order shown. Diaphragm bolt and flow holes in cover must line up with bolt and flow holes in body. Tighten cover screws to 65-85 in-lbs for ¾” NPT valves and 110-150 in-lbs for 1” NPT valves. Install plunger and spring into sleeve. Tighten sleeve assembly to 130-150 in-lbs, again using supplied wrench nut. Slide coil assembly over sleeve and reinstall spring washer and nut. Tighten nut to 43-53 in-lbs. Pressurize system and check for leaks and functionality. ASCO: Lubricate body gasket and solenoid base gasket with DOW CORNING 200 Fluid lubricate or an equivalent high-grade silicone fluid. Replace body gasket and diaphragm assembly.
