Sound field – car interior: Generally, the given acoustic conditions in a vehicle are unfavourable, moreover they are different in each type of car. The limited interior space, its form and the materials used, lead to car-specific deflections for example impairing the sound transmission and its reproduction. Even high quality loudspeakers are compromised in their performance and sound quality, if the interior acoustic environment is ignored. It is dependent on the crossover design to make use of the acoustic properties of the driver.
The acoustic customization is performed in two steps: The „electronic“ adaptation: After installing the speakers in the car, the frequency response in the hearing position is evaluated via a test signal. Hereby frequency response deficiencies are identified. Through a highly developed measuring technique the sound emission angle of the loudspeakers, possible wiring schemes and parameters are tested and determined. The adaptation through „hearing tests“: In the end the trained ear is the most sensitive judge of a harmonic sound tuning. The acoustic finetuning of the theoretical calculations and the correction of the residual transmission errors is therefore performed by longlasting hearing tests. Sound quality: High-quality electronic components and a precisely defined network guarantee excellent sound results and positive assessments by the professional press.
Sound image: Extensive measurement studies yield the decisive parameters for perfect sound. It is the sensitive precision work of developing crossover networks, for which no standard calculation formulas does exist.

The exact position for the midrange and the tweeter is fixed on the basis of an acoustically fine tuning. If no possibilites for installing are factory set, custom made speaker enclosures are providing a widerange stage performance in the dashboard. All for the good sound: first-class speaker systems - also for TV-connection - , subwoofer which require low space and technically high developed digital amplifiers. Sound systems for the driver‘s cabin and the living area make the leisure mobile become a concert hall.
To represent the complete sound spectrum in a vehicle, the speakers must reproduce smallest nuances and subtleties realistic. This is difficult with a single type of speaker. Deep bass and brilliant heights require different speaker types. A distinction is made between:

High tones have a high frequency, so a sound wave that oscillates very rapidly. For this reason, small membrane are beneficial. Those can regive rapid oscillations precise and clear. Lower frequencies require long sound waves, with can be reproduced perfectly with a large membrane and a large enclosure.

Crossovers divide the frequency spectrum Individual built-in solutions …. & more ! For any space available the best solution: car-customized built-in solutions for the driver‘s cabin and boxes for the living area in elegant design are harmonically adapted to the design of the living area - with a minimal space required.
Crossovers are used to split the sound spectrum between the three speaker types. Even highest quality speakers are severely limited in their performance and sound quality when the interior acoustics is not considered. It crucially hinges on the crossover, whether the quality of the chassis comes into its own. High-quality electronic components and a precisely certain circuit ensure that individual notes of a frequency range achieve for the specifically designed speakers. Extensive measurements show the decisive parameters for perfect sound quality. In sensitive fine-tuning JEHNERT crossovers are vehicle specific developed. The crossovers are located between the amplifier and the speaker chassis.

The JEHNERT bassreflex subwoofer has been developed especially for recreational vehicles with limited space available. Despite of its low enclosure volume the performance is a maximum in sound quality. Each subwoofer is equipped with a »plug & play« cable and driven energy saving by a digital 5-channel amplifier, as a radio does not have the sufficient output.

The task of a subwoofer is to support the bass range. A subwoofer needs to be combined with additional speakers, as it produces only low tones and bass. Space-saving, leather-trimmed corner boxes allow a pleasant voice and music reproduction from the flat-screen TV.
An audio amplifier is a broadband amplifier and preferably distortion-free for alternating voltages in the audible low frequency range of 10 Hz to 23.000 Hz or higher. Audio amplifiers include an electronic circuit to play small audio signals with higher power.

The digital 5-channel amplifier is very energy-saving, powerful and very versatile. It offers the possibility for finest frequency programming with a broadband frequency compensation, the transfer of frequencies and time correction. The compact 5-channel amplifier is equipped with a 160 watt output for the subwoofer. The large plug & play adapter system allows easy connection with the standard head units/radios as well as TVs.
Subwoofers are intended to support the low frequency range. Developing our subwoofer solutions for mobile homes and caravans it is not about sound pressure or decibel, but much more about reaching clear and vivacious sound dynamics and to perfect the surround sound. Maximum sound - minimal volume! The multi box 5500 performs with its small dimensions of 18 x 10 x 8 cm outstanding sound qualities. The integrated 2-way system with a 26mm Neodymium tweeter and 80mm midrange obtained in addition to an optional subwoofer vivacious sound dynamics.
With its unique construction, the small and variable Multiboxes offers many possibilities for mounting and installing. Installing is very simple and fast by the strong adhesive Velcro system e.g. on the wardrobe, dividing walls, frames or as corner box. The front enclosure can be combined with any design of the living area and is available in many colours. Many of our sound packages include the multiboxes and are available in the following designs and colours.

Integrated motorhomes soundystem »driver‘s cabin and living area« Individual mounting options - perfectly integrated! Our high-quality sound concepts for integrated motorhomes guarantee brilliant sound and confer exclusive ambience. The separate midrange-tweeter system is mounted on the dashboard in an optimal acoustic position and is providing a wide and open sound staging. The low-range fundament is a 130mm (5”) or a 165mm (6,5”) woofer in the side panels – depending on the place available. This guarantees an optimal sound image as well as a music playback which is rich in details. On request, we develop individual midrange tweeter modules depending on the cab and space. For driver and passenger the sound characteristics are optimized in precisely tuned listening position. installation example midrange tweeter system - varies according to model type
Two exclusive speaker boxes (page 13 - 15) support the perfect sound in the motorhomes living area or bedroom. Through ther innovative design, the speaker boxes and coverings are always adjusted in harmony with the interior ambience. The TV connection is also possible. The full sound package is driven by a low-power 5-channel amplifier (page 11) with the latest 56-bit DSP technology. A selectable subwoofer in different sizes (page 12) completes the system with impressive sound dynamics. The complete sound package for the plug and play TV connection includes two multiboxes at one‘s option, two 165mm Jehnert-power woofer with mounting rings and grills as well as a especifically for the TV connection developed mini-amplifier. Also included is the 5m high-quality 3,5mm stereo jack cable for TV, radio, smartphone or tablet connection. The peculiarities of the 4 x 35 Watt soundsystem is the possiblity of the selectable multiboxes and the power-saving, only cigarette large 4-channel amplifier. Despite of limited space available music and movies can be enjoyed while traveling. On request, a bluetooth module for smartphone or tablet connection is available.
