Overview
The DIN rail surge protector uses an avalanche diode and thyristor technology. Low shunt capacitance reduces signal loss. It protects your high-speed, high-energy equipment from inline surges at the interface card.

Installation Steps 1. Turn off power to the unprotected equipment. 2. Install the DIN protector onto a standard 35-mm DIN rail using the self-grounding clip by pushing the protector firmly to secure the unit into place. See Figure 1.
Figure 1. Connect the self-grounding clip by hooking one side of the clip to the DIN rail, and pushing it firmly to secure the unit into place. 3. Disconnect the incoming data lines from the equipment. 4. Connect the protector to the equipment. 5. Attach the incoming data line to the protector. 6. Turn on power to the now protected equipment.
